    Question of the day: What are your favorite hiking snacks?

    I hiked this trail yesterday with my two dogs. I must’ve made a wrong turn somewhere and ended up on a very difficult hike after descending for quite a while. I eventually ended at a place where the slope was too steep for me especially because it had rained and was slippery. So I had to turn around and redo that same hike to get out, except uphill this time. I was sweating bullets in 40 degree weather. I wish I would’ve seen your video before I went. It could have saved me some work. Great content. Thanks.

      Absolutely! I got to learn some thing, share some thing and also plant some trees through my steps. I consider that a win-win.

      Absolutely! I am now entering into my seventh year of travel, and I am so delighted. Over the past seven years I’ve done so many things, and there are so many more to come. This year is going to be an exciting year as I adventure to some places that I have not before, and go back to some that I have, but not in a long time, and possibly have never shared here on the channel.

    Good job on those stairs... we use different leg and body muscles when we go down and a different set when we go up... so you have probably used all your muscles today...

    • @BunnyPlaysHere

      I absolutely detest stairs, but I find myself doing a lot of them lol sometimes to get to the pretty places you just have to suck it up and go with it and even though it’s not fun it sure pays off in the end lol I always try to challenge myself and this was definitely a challenge. I’ve never hiked this place, three times and the stairs do not get any better.

    Wow. Beautiful. I am sure it would be a beautiful sight to see the water fall flowing.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve definitely seen a few pictures and it is gorgeous. I’m a little hesitant to hike this when it’s raining, however because of the slippery nature of the stairs, and also the stone walkway, which does fall off into the forest lol.

      Thank you so much!! I always tell people the area does the hard work, it is amazing and just is that way... I just film it and let people see the beauty!!! For many they will never be able to hike this because of physical limitations so taking everyone on a journey to see something unique and beautiful is so amazing!!

      I’m so glad glad you came along for the adventure! Places like this are great, because not only do they have the beauty of the hike but also the cool stories and the stories really resonate with me because I love learning about the places that we go. I’m glad the other people do as well.

      I really enjoyed going to this location and learning about this family specifically I think that it’s really interesting to see how the public spaces that we have haven’t always been public and learning a bit more about what they were before sometimes can tell some pretty endearing stories

    Wow when you got to that big open area it was beautiful. I can only imagine how pretty it is whenever everything is flowing with the waterfall.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve never been there whenever there is a waterfall flowing only because it does get pretty slippery there so I try to avoid that when hiking solo just for safety but I have seen some photos and it is quite pretty

    I love the Lakeside Forest! So many great hikes in this area. Sometimes when I'm done I go across the street and get a donut.

    Thank you young lady for sharing another place that I will now have to explore whenever I go to Branson. I have already planned a trip this year because there was a show last year whenever I was there that I did not get to check out.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are a couple of other hikes that I plan on doing next time I go. I keep adding to my list of places in the Branson area and the more that I add I’m hoping it’s a better resource for everyone. Also, what show did you miss out on?

  • @jenniferpalmer7432
    @jenniferpalmer7432 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for showing us things like this. It’s really nice just to see stuff that’s outside sometimes even though I enjoy going to museums and things like that it’s great to see that you can still have brain wrinkles even outside.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think everywhere we go has a special story to tell and sometimes we notice it and sometimes we don’t based on how much is there for us to learn from. In places like this, where they have signage, it makes it a lot easier for us to get those brain wrinkles and so I always want to highlight them because they have gone above and beyond to help us learn a bit more.

    I always enjoy seeing where you are and today this looks really like an adventure. My question to you that I noticed in another video also was whenever you’re in an area that has a lot of leaves and you can’t tell where the path is. How do you make sure that you stay on the path? You probably have told this before but I don’t remember.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually they have something called blazes on trails every so often they are colorful little squares or paint on the trees along the path which help you stay on path. Also however you learn to read the area for trail markers such as clear areas or flat areas in otherwise more jagged areas.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว

      it also helps if you are unfamiliar with these things to use an app like all trails

  • @vickiesweitzer8625

    What a beautiful place! So cool to walk along with you with your 360 camera. It always bothered me to see TH-camrs walking through a space knowing that they were running back and forth to set up the shot, film it, run back and retrieve the camera, and get ready to do it all again! This is so much cooler! Fun! What time of the year is best to explore this area?

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I still do that sometimes to set up a beautiful shot but at the same time I prefer not to do that because it does disrupt my experience in nature so I’ve been looking for something that I could use to highlight my experience, but also to allow me to still enjoy it. The angle with this camera is super simple. I just change where I’m holding it and then I’m good to go and I can continue on.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally prefer to do any hiking during fall or winter, simply because of snakes, but this is apparently quite beautiful during spring also

    • @vickiesweitzer8625
      @vickiesweitzer8625 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Bunny! Good to know about the snakes 😳 I hope to be in the area the end of March. Sounds like I may limit my exploration a bit. You’ve done so many videos around the Branson area, I can’t wait to experience it!
