i dont like surprises , therefore i dont buy albums of artists ive never heard anything from. . . . but for some reason ,2 years ago, i just saw this album laying there , on a shelf . . . . . the rest of the whole shelf was completely stuffed with different albums of different bands/genres and sub-genres . . . . . . but "Támsis likam" was just there ... laying in the very back of that black shelf... all alone . . . . quite easily one of the best surprises ive ever had from life ... and one of the best musical compositions i own in my collection , even among the classics . . . . . . keep composing your melodies of obliteration , gentlemen, and i'll stay here to worship them.
Just heard it for the first time, in my room and in the dark. This is a great album, so dark and atmospheric, melancholic but full of beauty. Hamferð is one of the best doom metal bands now, but unfortunately doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Hope this changes soon, this guys are truly talented.
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
Saw these guys live some days ago. Was not mean to be the main band of the night but it was to me. Very clean execution, serious (in the good way), and great performance in the scenery. I was a bit confused because of the too-confident behavior of the vocalist, but it turned out to be a show of well played metal music.
Have these guys ever been to North America? Canada specifically? My first time hearing them. I'm not really into doom, but I bought this album after my first listen and it has been on repeat. Great vocal work. I hope to see them in concert one day
I discovered these guys at MehSuff festival in Switzerland. They played early afternoon and the visitors weren't really into it, their show would have been AMAZING at night time! But that was sadly reserved for the bigger names... But their show was awesome nonetheless. Everyone was wearing a full suit like they were on a funeral and the guy's voice is perfect live. If you get the chance, do check them out either at night outdoors or indoors when they turn down the lights to create a proper Hamferd atmosphere.
The instrumentations are a bit weak considering the power of the vocals. Still a very enjoyable record from start to finish, just not like their debut.
this band has made better music than anything tyr has produced, ever. (including heljareyga, which, yeah i know, isn't tyr, but is heri). another good metal band from the faroe islands not affiliated with heri is svartmalm
Great album, but I wish he would drop the harsh vocals already. He is such a great singer, it feels like a letdown whenever he starts going into growls.

Yesterday I was at their concert in Poznan. I am absolutely in love. My black heart is filled to the brim with the darkness in their veins.
I don't know about y'all, but I really like albums with fewer but longer songs.
I hate...

Not through with the album yet but I've heard enough to bow down in awe. Truly great art!
Excelente, maravilloso! No hay palabras para describir lo que esta banda desprende. Brutal!
Saw them play this album live tonight In Iceland and it was amazing!
I was there too. Amazing!!! Fantastic band

FUDGING BEAUTIFUL.
Stunning
That is some great Doom Metal. Not sure whether I like it better than their first album though.
Does it need to be better?

Jonny Guillen I too am Canadian and not much into doom, but my god this album is phenomenal. Would love to see them live.
Mitchell C. Will have to keep an eye on them. Looks like this album is getting a lot of reviews and turning heads all over the world.
A really beautiful album
I’m obsessed with them
Check out warning/40watt sun
Never fails to kick ass!
What an album!
pure awesomeness
Epic, devastating, incredible.
Goosebumps
This album is fucking incredible. First doom i've heard since the new Bell Witch album that I actually enjoyed.
Mitchell C. Ataraxy, King Witch, Hooded Menace, Monolithe, Druid Lord all Doom or Death/Doom from this year. All good
Daniel Betancourt I liked the Hooded Menace album too, Ataraxy wasn't bad but it just didn't hook me. I'll give the others a listen, thanks!
Check out fvneral fvkk too

>Everyone was wearing a full suit like they were on a funeral
Funeral Doom. Yes, that's the point.
Amazing
Some fine ass Dómadagsmálmur!
Hails from United States. Please give us a tour.
Perfection
Good shit
I feel like a fucking viking
holy fuck!

Valium music

What is the point in the comparison? Two radically different approaches.

You are so lame.
@@Baagism lol okay!
It's an epic death/doom band, that's part of the idea that makes them unique in sound.
