I originally played this several years ago and I remember how much I hated it because of all the side-missions. Some stages require you to find all the rings, all three of the balls and kill all of the enemies, so whenever I missed one I had to re-do the entire stage and I basically had to memorize all the locations. The framerate on the game isn't too great and some of the stages are very dark making it a not so pleasurable game to looking at. It's been a while since I felt so distracted during a recording as this one. I thought the increased quality would make it more pleasing but not really. I don't want to bash the game as it's certainly not terrible but I don't have a whole lot of good things to say about it. Movie games generally aren't too spectacular anyway. Anyway, what's funny is that my original video used to be ranked for the fastest Finding Nemo speedrun ever. I never put it there, somebody else did. So the video would sometimes receive comments about exactly that. Not gonna lie, it stroke my ego a bit. I knew I practiced the stages a ton to memorize all of the locations for everything, but I didn't expect to be the fastest to ever do it. The irony is that this video is literally two hours faster. I did cut out some loading screens (simply because I was already cutting out the movie cutscene that was right next to it) so I guess it doesn't qualify for a speedrun this time but nonetheless it's massively improved over my previous video. This video might've been the catalyst for people just randomly submitting obscure games that they stole from LPA for #1 speedrun records. It's easy to be the fastest when nobody else ever ran the game.. which is probably literally what happened with my original Finding Nemo run. But please don't steal my footage and try to submit it as your own speedrun, because it has happened so often now that the speedrun team is aware of it and always double checks if the footage ain't taken from LPA lol
I forgot how beautiful this game is still manages to bring back pleasant childhood memories the soundtrack is also beautiful I love the intro for the hide and seek level and I also love the level were nemo has to swim through the ring of fire that level's musical score makes me feel comfortable and confident thank you for playing through this game its definitely one of my favorites we own the ps2 version of this game
This comment will Show My Age But this Was My FIRST ever Video game as a kid.. aside with SSX 3 On PS2. This Video Brings Back so much Childhood Memories Thank You So Much For this video I gotta find myself a copy of this ❤❤❤
Oh I remember doing a ps2 collection on my channel, and still have this game as a kid. I remember that the puzzles gets kinda hard for me, and I kept getting my grandma to help me with them.
i remember playing this on ps2 as a kid, i got stuck in the beginning when you have to catch up with mr.ray but never got past it. now watching your play through i would have CRIED, there’s sooo much of the chasing levels lmao
when my older sister and brother rented this game, they let me watch them play because i was little too young for video games at the time. as i got a little older, it meant business! i started playing it and it was easy at first until i got to the hard levels. i quit after that! i think my younger sister played it too. then my younger brother started playing it…god he was super pissed. of course my parents helped him out and then they felt his pain. after that, we never played it again 😂
I’m disappointed by the lack of cutscenes in this. There’s hardly any context as to what’s going on. They’re mostly just jumping from scene to scene. And even some of the cutscenes are still confusing if you don’t know the plot. I guess they expected you to know what’s going on from watching the movie, but sometimes people get a game before they’ve even seen the movie, so it’s nice to still have a better explanation as to what is going on. There was a lot more potential for this game to be really good, but from looking at this gameplay, it looks like it falls short. For whoever enjoyed this game though, that’s good! Don’t wanna spoil any fond memories. Just my observation.
No sorry blame the game using actual movie cutscenes for that. I never like it when games do that as the copyright holders force us to cut those out of the video or else it gets blocked
Oh okay I see! Thank you for getting back to me and clearing that up. I agree, not only does it cause copyright issues for content creators, but it’s also just a bummer when all they do is play movie cutscenes instead of making their own just for the game. I assume maybe they didn’t have enough budget/time to make more complete ones, so they had to substitute. Also, despite this game feeling lackluster, the gameplay was still enjoyable to watch even though I can feel how tedious a lot of it must have been, so I commend the time and effort put into the video!
@@pricewilson1436 yep, there’s a few movie games like that. Robots too from the top of my head. Definitely not all, though, and I applaud the ones that dont just rip scenes from the movie

I mean, it didn’t show the entire movie, just clips of it. If it’s just clips, then you should be okay.
Anyone else was stuck on the mind field mission?
On the third level, the part when nemo was about to kick the boat butt I was kinda confused and I was very close at the end.
