Welsh pony looks beautiful. You guys did a magnificent job on her I must say. It’s nice that princess, prince and Palmerston now has a sibling to share the line with, and I look forward to riding behind welsh pony when lockdown has lifted and I can return to England.
This was so good to watch on Saturday, having just watched the weekly Talyllyn broadcast this is in my feed, perfect timing. My phone is now on silent and I'm going to enjoy it all over again. Well done to everyone who worked on the restoration she looks great! I really like the Plum livery. Also well done to everyone braving the weather to make Saturday happen.
i thought it was nice how the Ffestininog railway used the old wood boiler lagging as fire wood so they could light the first fire that Welsh pony has had for many years, it saved them the trouble of breaking up or cutting up some old sleepers, how did they fill her boiler with water? correct if me if i am wrong but i feel they mite have filled it using a hose pipe or water buckets.
I just wanted to say how nice it is to see young people like Millie speaking Welsh, and for her part not letting it fade away.

Love the paintwork
All Aboard. All Aboard. Enjoy the ride.
Oh but that original lagging could make such fine presentation pieces for people who worked on it.
What fantastic news. I've already booked to come to north Wales next summer-can't wait
congrats from germany! A treat to see good ol' Moelwyn helping out as well ;)

I believe they use a non return valve with a pump. Usually the bikes are filled to the top when running for days on end.
@@yeo5811 its very fitting that they reused the old boiler lagging as fire wood to get the fire going
You could have sold the old boiler lagging, I bet there are some enthusiasts who would by it.
Will Welsh pony be repainted in its green or red colour?
You will have to wait and see.😎
I remember seeing the update 29 3 17 video when she was just a boiler
Good to see it up and running. Will it have a Welsh nameboard as well?
We'll have to wait and see...
@@FfestiniogWelshHighland Very mysterious.
What fluid is used to ignite the fire?
Paraffin
Steam engines may come and go but Granpuff goes on forever!
