another way of visualizing the ratio intuitively is to show that three circles fit in the length of the circunference (with the remainder of .14)... and no matter how big or small the circle is, it is obvious that the diameter will grow proportionally to the circunference.

Question: if in the derivation of area of circle we split the circle and make a rectangle/parallelogram, there is length as pi*r and breadth is r and we get side x side= pi*r*r. But if using the same shape we do perimeter of rectangle which is 2(side+side) it yields 2(pi*r+r) which implies 2r(pi+1)????? Please really confused!!!!
In the first case, you've used area of square bro..(cause perimeter of square is 4* side) and in the second case you've used perimeter of rectangle. If you want to derive area of circle then use area of rectangle i.e. (length* breadth) I hope this clears your confusion. (It is not possible to make a parallelogram, this will just be an add on to your confusion) And why are you adding (side)² for area of parallelogram? This formula is just for square.
i have tihs question The diameter of a wheel of a cycle is 70 cm. It moves slowly along a road. How far will it go in 24 complete revolutions? so i should consider the pi 3.14 or 22/7
Lalit Sharma this vid is lowkey stupid, the easier way is radius x 2 x pi, if radius is 3, do 3 x 2, which is 6, then do 6 x 3.14, which is pi. For area, if radius is 3, do r x r x pi, which is 3 x 3 = 9, then 9 x 3.14
V.good I learnt pi from this video... Otherwise I was getting a lot of confused...very helpful...but I didn't know how can we make the curved line straight?? But the explanation of pi was great...thanks...
You don't have to make it straight, it just signifies the length in the form of a line. So a circle of circumference 18.84 would have a line of 18.84cm.
Thank you so much Sanjay for your appreciation. We are glad that you understood the concept. We are happy that we could help you learn. Do support us by subscribing to our channel. 👍👍
You have a radius and the diameter If the diameter is 6 you divide that by two... (You always have to divided the diameter by two) Then you multiply the diameter by 3.14 which is the pi.
Pi is 22/7 when you are faced with calculating Pi with physical objects like a string and a pencil When the Egyptians built the Great Pyramid (GP) 4,500 years ago they knew that if you take a string or rope and mark off 22 segments long let's call the segment a Royal Cubit (RC) for fun and counted the first 7 RCs of that rope and then took half that distance and drew a circle with a radius of 3.5 RCs in the sand then the 22 RC long string laid on the circumference in the sand fit exact perfect fit Armed with that knowledge they quickly realized that for any circle of diameter N there were N pie whole slices/wedges each Pi (22/7) in circumference so a 10 RC diameter circle had 10 slices each Pi in circumference C=Pi*N that's all they needed to build the greatest object ever built by man and did it with a string and a pencil like object 4,500 years ago Pi to them was not 3.14159 but 22/7 and they built the GP with something they could actually measure
I always used to ask my math teacher that where this pie etc came from. What is this actually. Now I feel they obviously knows all about it as she try to told me but not make me able to understand like this in practical manner. Then we learn only it's 3.14. Then after my 10th I ask my new math teacher that why should we learn integration differentiation trigonometry. What's their concept in our life. He just looked at me in anger. Then same when I asked in my engg. college to my teachers about some engg subjects relevance. They just try to made me shut. Even when in my last semester when I told my one of my teacher of particular subject that sir it seems we r wasting our time by studying this subject, he just blocked my internal assessment in end results. And honestly I don't even remember the name of that subject now.

Answer of 3cm is 18.84
but how do we know the cricle line is how big
You multiply pi (3.142) by diameter (6cm) do it now 3.142x6 equals??
But Why Circumference will 18.85

You have a radius and the diameter
If the diameter is 6 you divide that by two...

If you don't know the radius multiply pi with the diameter

Pi is 22/7 when you are faced with calculating Pi with physical objects
like a string and a pencil
When the Egyptians built the Great Pyramid (GP) 4,500 years ago
they knew that if you take a string or rope and mark off 22 segments long
let's call the segment a Royal Cubit (RC) for fun
and counted the first 7 RCs of that rope
and then took half that distance
and drew a circle with a radius of 3.5 RCs in the sand
then the 22 RC long string laid on the circumference in the sand
fit exact
perfect fit
Armed with that knowledge
they quickly realized that for any circle of diameter N
there were N pie whole slices/wedges each Pi (22/7) in circumference
so a 10 RC diameter circle
had 10 slices each Pi in circumference
C=Pi*N
that's all they needed to build the greatest object ever built by man
and did it with a string and a pencil like object 4,500 years ago
Pi to them was not 3.14159 but 22/7 and they built the GP with something they could actually measure
thanks for giving extra knowledge
Bruh what u wrote is so long
why do we still need pi to find circumference of circle after using the way of making the curve of circle straight and measuring it to get perimeter?
How pie is a irrationl number when it expressed 22/7 like A/b?
I always used to ask my math teacher that where this pie etc came from. What is this actually. Now I feel they obviously knows all about it as she try to told me but not make me able to understand like this in practical manner. Then we learn only it's 3.14.
