It really depends on the day. Weekends are obviously going to be a lot more busy. Show up early. I think check in is usually 2:00. Have a backup plan if it's full.
It really depends on the campground. Anything on the big lakes are going to be the busiest. Sometimes we show up before check in time just to scope out the place. If a spot is open we are ready to jump on it. Some are not nearly as busy. Always have a back up plan.
