It's fun watching trails I recognise (except for that new one), puts it into perspective when you know how steep it really is! Some good riding especially with no-one with you to help pick up the pieces!
@mtbnorthwestengland Fit as a fiddle for now at least. Living close to Hanchurch Woods and I've been riding and building there for the last few years. Trail building is so addictive!
@mtbnorthwestengland Apparently the legendary 'hero dirt' appears there during a full moon if you ride naked through all of the nettles on the lower slopes. May the grip be with you!

Great video, good honest mountain biking 👏 I've been caught out too many times thinking 'yeah I could ride rhat' get there snd then go ' no chance 😮" . But hey, I'm still gonna visit Shropshire st some point 😅
It's a great place, difficult but interesting. The hill itself is fascinating how it pokes out of the round with Shropshire's flatlands all around. Tip: don't go when it's wet, it gets a bit slick 😬
Spot on and when you stop and then later watch the footage you think why didn't I ride that, looks super easy 😂. The steep exits down to that first fire road are just mental. It's certainly a good riding spot for progression 👌

the rain is good and bad up there 😅
Never heard of good rain, always bad for me on tech 🤣. If you have mediocre trails I don't mind rain to make them more difficult
I was there today and apart from the wet snipers roots 😳 it was riding really nice 🤟
