id say it depends how strong or over leveled your team is. He is mainly used for the intimidate passive which gives attack down permanently, I dont remember if any other character has that skill on top of my head. You could try to RNG it by using abyss but that is going to be quite random. If you have a lower leveled team then you would likely need him to survive. But its a common unit and you get the skill at rank 3 at the end of the day.
