Cassie! They should have given you a choice of so.ething else since the item you wanted to keep was out of stock, I feel like that is kinda bad for business...it would be different if you didn't want it, but you did...that stinks it's kinda like these men boys that you were ranting about! LoL kidding kinda...well...not really 🤣
I couldn't agree more. Honestly, knowing this about Stitch Fix makes me not want to sign up. Cassie is the best emissary they could hope for, so if they'd treat her like this, I'll have to pass. It's too bad, because her videos on this have been making me want to try the service. Sorry, Cassie. You and every consumer deserves better.
Every time I watch one of your stitch fix vids I just shake my head because usually it seems like you are trying to convince yourself it is worth it. They have repeatedly ignored the styling preferences you put into your profile! Think about it - as someone else commented, they don't have much of an incentive to get it right and send you stuff you'll love each time since they are getting your $20 no matter what (and they can send the unwanted stuff from the box to other people once it is returned and get their $20 when they also do not want it), and if you buy things in order not to "waste" your $20 they get even more money from inflated prices. I just can't understand why you still like this service, but to each their own! All that being said, that wrap dress with the fabric you hated actually was the most flattering style and color on you. You look great in both light blues and bright reds! And the sleeves hit you in a very flattering way, as well as the v-neck style neckline. The first dress you liked was nice, but a little too baggy to be fit and flare.
Love these videos Cassie!! I feel like they should have honored the $20 since it was on their part..they sent you an item with a hole and when you wanted it exchanged and they didn’t have it they should have let you keep the credit :(
This is in no way a criticism of you Cassie- I am just so disappointed in StitchFix and Thred Up... I feel like overtime the quality of the service they provide has decreased and the prices gone up! I’m glad you’re still enjoying them cause I would’ve cancelled soooo long ago!
Also you said that if you don't like anything in the box they keep the $20 because that's how they make money. That proves their incentive isn't even to send you things they like. I'd trust in these boxes more if they REFUNDED you if you didn't want to keep anything and only made $$ if they sent you stuff you liked enough to keep.
They kept your $20 when they couldn't exchanged a DAMAGED item? Right there I wouldn't trust this company!! They should apply the $20 to next month WITH an additional $10 or $20 credit for sending a ripped item then disappointing by not having an undamaged replacement.
It wasn't Cassie's fault the dress had a hole in it so why should she be penalized! I would take that up with them for sure. It may not seem like a lot of money but a $20 is a $20 and I for one don't have it to waste! Them doing that to her makes me more certain that I wouldn't buy from them.
I only ever had one great stitch fix box. And the disappoint is so real when I wasted $20. also, I just can't pay $40-50 per item when I can find great clothes at Marshall's, Target, and Ross for way cheaper! Love your channel :)
I feel like with these types of boxes you end up trying to convince yourself you like something you would never pick out on your own and then you wear it once and never again. The stuff I wear is way too specific for a box like this but even if I wore more mainstream clothes I don't think I'd ever get anything I'd like. The whole point of clothing is, much like make up, to set yourself apart and create a part of your identity, for you to choose how others perceive you. I don't see how you could leave that up to someone else even if it's vaguely "customized". Personally I've never see anything come out of anyone's box (with any company) that wasn't straight up hideous. :(
Hmm, doesn't seem fair that you lose your $20 styling fee when it's bcuz they sent you an item with a hole and are unable to replace it with an undamaged one. Maybe you could ask customer service about it? I know it's "only" 20 bucks, but they need to learn that their customer shouldn't be punished for something that's not their fault imo. Ps... it's a shame too, cuz I thought that it was really cute on you! 💜
I think the first dress looked the best on you. I think you enjoy the anticipation and surprise to see what is in the box. The PURPLE Tom's makes me think these boxes are just like Boxy Charm etc. where they send products that didn't sell, that they acquired at significant discount, only to sell to you at inflated prices.
Funny I think that blue red flower dress really looked best on you out of all the dress. It looked great on you, made your eyes pop and your jewelry too. You looked so cute like it would look kinda vintage depending upon your hair style
Mellie D I do this with my jandals! My boyfriend can’t stand them and especially when I wear them with socks but if he gets to wear his camo crocs then I get to wear my jandals lol
They sent you 3 almost-identical dresses (length, silhouette, pattern) in the same box with lavender shoes that doesn't match/go with any of those dresses... that is so strange.
They're atrocious and their business model actually causes issues in the communities where they are donated. Local, small businesses that sell/repair shoes are forced out of business when the market is flooded with free shoes. You're much better off donating directly to Heifer International where they educate and provide livestock to locals for subsistence farming or sale. 💖
You should send them an email complaining about the loss of your $20 styling credit, considering you intended to exchange the damaged item and it was their fault you couldn't. That's utter bullshit and completely unacceptable.
YAY! New video! Loved the first dress on you, but in general this box seemed like a train wreck :/ I hope Sasha isn't gone and you get her back, she was doing so well! The fact that you lost your $20 because of their mistake is not cool though, I would complain if I were you :/
Wait, they sent you something with a hole, and they didn't have any left to replace it with, and they still kept your $20?! That seems kind of messed up. I think they 100% should give you $20 worth of credit because it was not your fault you didn't keep anything.
I rarely get the same stylist more than once. And usually when I do they get my style and then stylist changes. But that First dress was really awesome
@@thriftthick She meant pick an item in the box worth $20 since you said the $20 goes towards something you keep. But as cheap and hideous everything they always send out looks, I bet nothing is near just $20.
I ALSO got a disappointing box this month! I cheat and look at what's in the box when it ships, and as soon as I saw it I knew they had switched up my stylist. My old one nailed my personal style on the second box, and then a new one got assigned and it felt like she didn't look at my profile at all! I specifically requested my former stylist back in my note because she was great. Maybe because of the holidays they had to shuffle clients around, since stylists were going on vacation/new people were signing up as Christmas gifts, etc. Hopefully it'll all balance out next time around!
Signed up for my first fix last night and I’m super excited for what I might receive! I noticed they had an option for quarterly fixes (every 3 months) AND requesting fixes “on demand” - where you can choose any date. Hope this helps! Love from Texas!
Cassie...call or email Stitch Fix Customer Service and tell them about the damaged item.that you wanted to keep but couldn't exchange due to sizing. SF Customer service is great. I had something similar to happen and they issued a $20. Credit towards my next box. Reach out to them.-Beth
I haven't watched the whole video but I saw comments about a damaged item. If you have a damaged item absolutely contact the customer service at help@stitchfix.com. They can often times find you an exchange even if it stated it was unavailable when you try and do it yourself. They will also work with you for crediting your account or getting you discounts if the situation warrants that. But if you haven't already please contact customer service as they are always so helpful and go above and beyond to correct the situation!! I understand it super sucks to have a damaged item in your fix but if you don't tell anyone they can't do anything to make the situation better! Trust me they really don't want to just take your money and I think it's kinda sad that all the comments are about that now :/
I think I had like 5 StitchFixes. I loved my first 2 or 3 but then I felt like they weren't getting better over time. They would send me random things and I would comment, "this makes me look like a 40 something divorcee" only to get the same color in a different item later. But some of the tops I got I still have and wear regularly!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinions regarding Stich Fix. This is why I'm not inclined to do something like this. They seem to bait and switch and that issue with the $20 that seems pretty shady to me! I admire what you do and that you are very honest about things and you deliver bad news with such class! Keep doing what you do best and looking forward to 2019 and all your videos for the coming new year!
Cassie.... I love your reviews.... I have skin very similar to yours and you are spot on with every foundation review you do. Can you review the becca love skin foundation! Happy holidays
I've sent a couple of Fixes back. They started getting worse and worse so I ended up stopping my shipments. I don't think I've even had a fix since summer so..... I'm overall kinda meh on the whole thing at this point. I've had a couple of huge wins but more often not. I wish there was an option to pick my own 5 things they send rather than someone else picking for me. I'd probably take another fix if that was the case.
I totally agree with your opinions ... too bad they didn't have that first dress in your size. I really think they need to refund your $20, as they sent you a damaged item you would have otherwise kept.
Thank you for doing these and showing all the items and prices. Personally, I would never try that company. I feel as though you are swindled and that's very disappointing. Customer service is so important and they seem to lack on that. I appreciate that you showed your experience to save some people from doing it. Hopefully your next box is better if you continue with it.
Unfortunately when I ride them once they sent me nothing near what I would wear or what I said I would like to have. I agree with you on all of your choices for this month in your bow. Sorry it didn't work out for an exchange on the one with a hole.
Ellen DeGeneres has a line at Walmart, EV1. They have cute slide on tennis shoes I noticed while buying my wireless yoga bras (fruit of the loom. They are the MOST comfy to sleep in, high end or low end, I’ve found. Order a size down on those)
You really should make them give you the $20 back!! You wanted the item, but THEY sent you one with a hole in it. Please call them, ask to speak to a supervisor, mention that you do videos on your boxes and have over 250,000 followers and they just might change their tune on keeping your $20. You have to stand up for you, Cassie!!
Yeah...they swindled you. If something is an error or oversight on their part, you should not be responsible for the cost. I had Stitch Fix for maybe 6 boxes before finally getting so frustrated that I cancelled. Each time I said I did not like pink or horizontal stripes and they’d send me pink in almost every box and horizontal stripes in several of them. I don’t think they pay enough attention to what you say that you want and don’t want.
I'm with you on the Tom's. I'm more of a Skechers girl, myself. I liked the first dress...so cute. The second one was actually pretty as well, but I so understand about the cheap feeling material. That's no bueno for me, especially for $50. I agree with you about the neckline of the 3rd dress. Bummer about the not being able to exchange the first dress! :(
Thank you for the review! Now that personal styling services have become so well known and tried by so many women, you have to wonder if they will survive in the long run? I've tried dozens of items from 3 different styling services and almost without exception, they were poorly made or made of cheap material and all were extremely over-priced. The personal styling aspect is fun but you pay dearly for it!
I don't hate the way Toms look, but I'll never buy them bc I had a pair once and they got completely trashed within like 6 months... and I wasn't wearing them in snow or mud or rough terrain or anything like that, even
You are so fun. :) And that first dress was cute on you. Sorry about the hole. I had success with SF and then suddenly, it went really bad when they gave me a new stylist. I said no dolman tops--they look terrible on me and I must have petite dresses (I'm 5'3"). They sent me a dress that wouldn't fit a 6' woman--it was soooo long. LOL! And they sent me TWO dolman tops. They came in the same box too! I think that stylist misread everything about me! It just seems that if you say no to something, they should honor that and find something else but the stylists just do whatever. And CS was not very helpful and suggested I have the dress hemmed. 3 items in the box that were clearly listed as no's on my profile. I was done after that.
Would love to try stitch fix some day. Liked the same stuff you did. Thought the purse matched the dress you were going to keep so well. I would be upset they didn't at least give you a $10 credit or something. You did want to keep the item but it was damaged. It's not your fault they ran out of your size.
This box wasn't great at all. Your last one was so nice. Hope you didn't permanently lose Sasha! I've never tried Stitch Fix, but I'd be curious to look at their site. Thanks, Cassie.
That's such a bummer you lost your $20! I had an amazing last box and kept everything - they were even out of a size I was hoping to exchange for and got back to me right away saying they managed to find another item in the size I wanted so I was so impressed! I have had a few bummer boxes though, but overall I find Stitch Fix to be fun!
U lost your $20 after u received a damaged item. Gurl.. u got swindled.. you shouldn’t put up with that.
I agree! Absolutely not cool.
Agreed they should refund your credit since you got a damaged item that you would have kept.
I agree! That's just not good business.
Cassie! Agreed!
:( Sorry they were out of your size. It doesn't seem right that you lose the $20 when it's because the item had a hole and they couldn't replace it.
Ashleyien Exactly! It was STITCHFIX’s fault... so why in the hell should Cass be penalized for THEIR mistake?! That’s blubber, I tell ya!

I agree. She shouldn't lose her $20 because she was sent a damaged product and they couldn't replace it. Very bad customer service.
Their customer service is so great though! Just email them and I bet they make it right!!!!!
what the heck?? they sent you an item with a hole in it and then charged you for not buying it...? seems like they should have comp'd you on this one

That wrap dress, with the fabric you hate....it looks amazing on you!!
Yes, I agree! That is her most flattering style for her.

I was just thinking this morning that you haven't posted a Stitch Fix box video lately! Great minds think alike!
I'm wondering if you could have asked for a discount for the one with the hole in it since it was the last one in your size.
I lov ur shirt (ur wearin)- i want!where’d u get it?...
Periwinkle Dee sketchers nonslip work shoes are super durable. A brand I don’t think gets talked about but is awesome is vionic.
@@Kieorasama- Thank you for the heads up! I'll have to look for those and give them a try. :)
You are so right none of it was Cassie mode. By the way let your hair grow longer it's more sensual and becoming.
Can you request Sasha or even a different stylist since this one wasn't too good? I have never used Stitch fix so I'm not sure how it works.
Happy New Year to you and your family! In the next year I hope you get some of what you want and all of what you need! :)
Omg pay to have them hemmed just so they can make a sale? NO WAY! 😡
Janet B. Wow! That’s awful!
Where was the purse from? It was really cute and in my price range! Would love if you or anyone else could let me know! Thank youu!! xoxoxo
I love your reaction to the dress that has pockets... lol
Please tell me what brand that bag was because you may not of wanted it but I do !!!
*have wanted it. have= verb of= not verb
It's not your fault the dress you wanted had a hole in it. They should have refunded your $20 credit.
Yeah this was a wonky fix but that cross body bag was so stinking cute!
Thanks, Cassie.
shame you didn't like the green dress, that color was great on you!
I know what cheap material you are talking about, I hate it too! I’m not sure what it is either but I call it Walmart pajama shirt fabric haha
Obsessed with that hoodie!
Oh no, I thought that "wrap" dress looked great on you!! 😎
I personally love the wrap dress. It really sucks that you were unable to get the dress you liked.
Those Toms are so so cute!!
