I gave Hayden a hard time the other day but the picture showing him stuck had yall both smiling ear to ear. The man above sent him a lady that could rescue him. Yall have to be farming alot of ground.We cut our wheat here in May then as soon as it's done we put beans in. The corn getting cut now will get wheat put back. I'm assuming yall plant wheat as soon as the weather will allow in the spring. Keep up the good work.
Emma do you guys use yankum ropes to pull each other out of holes and wet ground. Laura and Grant use them on their farm. They pulled a farm rescue combine out of a hole while harvesting beans.
I dont mean to be dishing out ideas again, but me thinks that grain cart mfgs should put hinged flappers on the spout ends of the augers when they are retracted in order to keep the dirt out when the conditions are muddy and to prevent the back wheels of the tractor from flinging dirt into the augers. I saw one cartwith a load on and the top surface of the load has a lot of mud on the grain. It looked like you could have taken a shovel and shovelled it off.
Emma, next time a combine gets stuck, just walk up and say "hey, you can't park there" turn and walk away.
