The fact is that the band backing Barrington Levy is Not versatile in playing the real hard-core authentic Dancehall reggae music overall makes the artist have to improvise on his craft.Just my observation. The Sly and Robby Shakespeare's and Lloyd Park's and other legendary instrumentalist's qualities are fading.He seems to be fed up with the playing of the on-stage band..
The vibe between the singer and the band is not tight. I don’t blame the band, the singer was behind the beat and seemed angry at the band, the crowd and the sound engineer. He was even forgetting his own lyrics. The band is excellent, though.
