Thanks! I really appreciate that. From a creative standpoint it's been refreshing to be able to write in so many different genres. Though, I'm always worried it will confuse my general fanbase if I switch to much (hence why this isn't on Spotify). So yeah - this detour has been really fun! Buuut it's back to my usual stuff moving forward 😅

I have no plan to put this on Spotify because Approaching Nirvana isn't really a Lofi artist and I think it would confuse a lot of people. You can download the whole EP for free on my Patreon though and if there is enough interest in me writing Lofi, I'm open to writing more under another alias.
That’s fair and I appreciate the feedback. All my music is 100% written and produced by me. With regards to artwork, all my official releases (albums and singles on Spotify, etc) are either commissioned artwork or stock images I pay for. This EP is free, just for fun, and I didn’t have a budget for art. I’ve experimented with AI art tools this year to see if I could have a solution to situations where I can’t find stock images to fit the music. Generally it seemed like it could be a good solution, but as I’ve learned more about the sourcing I found that these AI tools do not compensate or credit their source material. And for that reason, I will not be using any AI generated images moving forward.

Having known your works since the Lapse In Time album, I've always loved the artworks you commissioned for the covers of them, and was thus disappointed to see this. But I understand the reasoning, and really appreciate you choosing not to use them anymore! Knowing many artists myself and seeing how the tech giants decided to capitalize on larceny-using their artworks for commercial purposes without attribution or consent-which has already caused entire genres of contractual work to dry up and pushed many artists into poverty and self-harm... has certainly left me quite jaded on the topic.
