Jin explained the inspiration behind his solo track Moon: “This song is about how the moon views the earth. I am the Moon, and ARMY is my Earth. "You are my earth, To you I’m just a moon". Is there a special significance to this imagery that Jin has used? The Moon’s rotation is synchronized with the Earth in a way. Jin seems to use this comparison to express that his love ‘follows’ their fans (ARMY), as he is able to do what he loves due to their support.
"Everyone says I’m beautiful but my sea is all black". I wanted to point out this particular lyric. Following from the moon and earth imagery, it should be noted that only one hemisphere of the moon faces us - the other faces away. The Moon shows the same ‘face’ to the Earth at all times. The lunar far side of the moon, also known as the dark side, has only been photographed from spacecraft. Is the ‘sea’ referring to the feelings and emotions that Jin tries not to show? It is interesting to note that Jin seems to downplay his importance, he sings that he’s just a moon? But according to NASA Science, the Moon makes Earth a more livable planet by moderating our home planet’s wobble on its axis. And in layman terms, that very action contributes to the Earth being able to have a relatively stable climate. It also causes tides, creating a rhythm that has guided people for thousands of years. As Jin treasures the love and support he receives from the ARMY, ARMY too treasures his love and support just as much.

Thank you for your reaction, Roscoe! Here is Jin proving he is not only the power ballad king but also the pop/rock king as well. Can't get over the purity of his silver voice in this love song to ARMY.
I can relate to the Little Prince visuals because of the similar cosmic themes in the song and the book but also because Jin also has those qualities of gentleness and passionate caring shown by St Exupery's character. Read the book, it's beautiful. I also recall that in the early days Jin was referred to as the "Prince of BTS" so that might have something to do with the choice of visuals as well.
This is new to me! "Analysis of the fox character in The Little Prince: The fox appears quite suddenly and inexplicably while the prince is mourning the ordinariness of his rose after having come across the rose garden. When the fox immediately sets about establishing a friendship between himself and the prince, it seems that instruction is the fox’s sole purpose. Yet when he begs the little prince to tame him, the fox appears to be the little prince’s pupil as well as his instructor. In his lessons about taming, the fox argues for the importance of ceremonies and rituals, showing that such tools are important even outside the strict world of grown-ups.
In his final encounter with the prince, the fox facilitates the prince’s departure by making sure the prince understands why his rose is so important to him. This encounter displays an ideal type of friendship because even though the prince’s departure causes the fox great pain, the fox behaves unselfishly, encouraging the prince to act in his own best interest."

Earth is the only planet whose Moon does not have a name. We just call our moon Moon. At night when I walk my doggy late and the sky is clear I would enjoy looking up at the moon and couldn't help thinking about Jin. Also when Jin left for the military I changed my profile pic to Jin to think of him and honor him every day. And one night walking my doggy I came up with another way to honor Jin. My idea was to name the earth's moon after Jin. This is what I came up with. You know the animated character Jiminy Cricket? Well, the name kind of sounds like Jiminy. The name I came up with was Jinmoony. JIN Moon E - phonetically. But say it fast like Jiminy. Jinmoony. So join me, and let's all rename the Earth's moon. Jinmoony. Why not? The moon is his anyway. Pass it on. Oh, and I want Jin to do an album with the theme of the moon. Cover's like "Moon River", "Fly Me to the Moon", "Blue Moon", and many others.
Wouldn't that be cool? His Moon album would sell out in a minute. "Goodnight Moon", a children's book, I mean Goodnight Jinmoony.

Think it was a blend of two stories: Tale of the Nine Tailed Fox (there were 9 foxes dancing around Jin), & The Little Prince fairytale (Jin on moon/planet by himself growing rose bush)

The teacher in me moaned on your take of the Little Prince. 😣 But I get it. I read that book 3 times because my friend loved that book like it held all of life's secrets. I could never connect to the story, but I loved the imagery. 😊

Roscoe, I apologize if what I write offends you, that's not my intention. You only commented on the scenario (wolf), you didn't even analyze Jin's lyrics and voice. This song is completely dedicated to ARMYs. Relationship moon and earth, Jin and ARMYs. It has nothing to do with the little prince. Again I apologize.
