Can I add 1 of these to a portable sewing machine?That only has a push button so I can use it to power on with my foot.Does it matter how many volts go through these things?
Yes it matters, but a sewing machine should be fine I think (I am not an expert on that so do it on your own risk) however in your case are you sure you want a button that makes it go and stay running, is is not better to have a "hold in to use" button?

Please identify who makes the switch and what the part number is. I can't find a grounded switch like that.
