While you are at Cumberland this year you need to go down to Dale Hollow and throw swimbaits on the flats! BIG BRONZEBACKS! I go there every late April and early May! Awesome fishing. Plus you are only 1 1/2 hours away!

That was awesome. Smallmouth bass that size are really a gift. We catch a lot of them up north but not anywhere near that size. As usual you put up excellent videos.

It's about time you guys got on the "spot lock". I've been using it for 4 years now (Terrova) and never could figure out why the pros wouldn't use it especially when fishing ledges, current or any other situation that Power Poles won't touch.
I love my spot lock ! I use it in saltwater. From inshore to offshore. Its super pleasant while bottom fishing wrecks + reefs and even that much better when you hook a monster tarpon around structure and need to escape fast. No more anchor balls.

Smallmouth are so easy to catch here, from like 1-5s are like every other cast up here in the rivers! in one day during the good time we will catch like 10-20 fish over 6lbs! gotta love the great lakes

I live up in southern New England my fishing bud for almost 40 years ( since about 8 years old) is getting first real bass boat in about a week a new ranger 178 and we are pumped after years of John boats and canoes. As much as I love my Florida largemouth ( and I've caught many monsters, including 4 that weighed right at 12 lbs each ), in my opinion, the smallmouth bass is the most beautiful of all the black bass species. I wish we also had them down here.
