- After appearing for the first hour on Jay's all-day livestream, I needed to find a Western style toilet (one with a seat) for Lynette. During our search we ran into a SuperFan who was also a Chef at a restaurant. We finally got to see a Chinese restaurant kitchen where the great food is made. 我刚才看到留言区有网友留言“雖然時至今日中國已經非常進步， 沒有想到還需要特別找“西式”廁所？ 是不是有點不可思議和丟臉？ ”我要向这位网友说，中国内地公共场所的厕所是蹲厕，是符合中国老百姓的日常生活习惯而设立的。蹲厕比坐厕卫生，坐厕任何人都坐在上面，有皮肤接触，有不干净的感觉。中国的蹲厕符合中国国情，坐厕中国老百姓都用不习惯。特别是有洁癖的人士更加反感。况且，每个公厕也有一个独立的坐厕，酒店也有蹲厕和坐厕。 请你不要用不可思议和丢脸这些带有侮辱的文字来形容。这是十分不尊重事实。

有些人只在家中使用坐廁，出外一律找蹲廁，沒蹲廁也要把坐廁當蹲廁使用，不想接觸陌生人屁股坐過的馬桶
@@b028092 我就是這樣。我是ABC，小時候在中國生活過幾年，所以從小就會蹲著上廁所。在家用坐廁還好，在外面我是把坐廁當蹲廁使用的。人家上廁所各種消毒，用seat cover，但我一下就解決了。而且用seat cover很容易堵廁所。不過蹲是個技能，很多美國人不會的，這是習慣問題。

In North America, most establishments would not let you use their toilets if you are not a customer of theirs.
Both the Chinese and American in Laws are very good people. They have mutual love understanding. We as Americans needs to understand the different between American, Chinese cultures and languages. We need to break the bad outlet medias, stigma and stereotypes because they are myth and not healthy for our soul. The Chinese, Japanese and Korean helped built this country (US) as much as any immigrants if you go to school and college they will teached you that. We do it for love, for our children and grandchildren. Jay & Ari are some of examples of beautiful interracial marriages between Chinese and Americans couple like their predecessors before their time in the past. China and US are the 2 biggest super powers in the world. No any other countries can match them. After all, we are all humans in one planet earth. We all want the same things in life, that is why God created us differently for that soley purpposes. I learned that from my bible school every Sunday as a kid growing up in Boston, Massachusette. We now lived in a mulitpolar world, unlike before when my family immigrated to US from Lao, Cambodia and Thai in 1974. Everthings was different back then.

蹲厕公共场合是最卫生的。有座厕也没人座。私人家里大多座厕或两种都有。亚洲人蹲没问题。西人小时候蹲也没问题。在一个本来不预算招待外国人的工作室没有西式座厕有什么大惊小怪。这也是为什么中国酒店要过一定等级才可以招待外宾。民进党的台湾人请不要在哪 知少少、扮代表。
西方人不會亞洲蹲 來中國上厠所是個問題。呵呵呵。

一般外面或商场的公厕里面都会同时设得两种，只是蹲厕比例会更高。我在深圳很少见到只有蹲厕的公共厕所呀，只有坐厕数量一般只有1-2个罢了。 一般家庭和酒店则90%都会采用坐厕，蹲厕越来越少。公域和私域有差别，大概是大家卫生观念和习惯的问题，对中国人来说没问题。@@LinaLiu-ek2zc 😅

@@jia-gs2ml 曾經在2010年到中國郊外的地方去， 結果到一家小餐館時，急想上廁所。 進入之後，結果突然間完全沒有有了上大號了的急感⋯⋯ 眼前： 蹲廁，沒有間隔，沒得沖水。。。。 還有一個員工真在”光明正大“下抽煙看報紙舒適的上大號！ 親身恐怖經歷🤣🤣🤣
其實不難找，但這老兩口是外國人，溝通上問題而已。
比如本節目裡，酒店接待員說二樓有一個，應該是餐廳公用的一個衛生間，但他們就是没找到，而是進了一個待打掃衛生的客房。
真可怜啊你，有着潜意识里的迎合西方和不是生活人群的倾向。首先蹲厕更卫生和科学，其次公共卫生间也分地方，商场和路边肯定是不一样的，商场里多数都有个特殊人群卫生间，街边就多数不会有这个。且商场里纵然是主要是蹲厕的卫生间也会有个残障人士或者老年人的坐厕，有拉手栏杆的那种。而路边的就太多样了，从你所说的没有门的卫生间（客观存在，至少十五年前我们村里有那种），厕所的种类本身也很多，和本地的经济实力有关，上海的农村和我老家的农村等等不一而足，而你因为这种不均衡，觉得不可思议和丢脸，说明你的见识很低下且存在着一种自以为是的迷思。
