The way we are celebrating struggling against 9 man Spurs is a bit embarrassing. We are singing “it’s happened again” but they’re still a point off top, 11 points ahead of us after 11 games. Let’s have a reality check. They went down to 9 men and we didn’t have a clue what to do. Slow build up play suited them. They didn’t have to chase the ball. Then we aim long balls up into space that’s easy for their keeper to claim. We missed several 1v1 chances out of pure panic. Where an inch away from conceding a genuine equaliser, and then scored a couple in the last minutes whilst Spurs had given up. I’m happy for the 3 points in a difficult period for us, but let’s not be delusional, that 4-1 score line flattered us. Lack of experience and gameplan showed.

We have some of the dumbest players around. We were having trouble coping with 9 fkin men on set pieces, and what do we do? Give away cheap,stupid fouls so a free kick can be whipped in. If they had sat back with 9 men, we probably would not have been able to break them down, and quite likely would have been countered after some comical defensive error. Don't get carried away with this, we'll probably draw/lose to the next side that just sits back.

We have some of the dumbest players around. We were having trouble coping with 9 fkin men on set pieces, and what do we do? Give away cheap,stupid fouls so a free kick can be whipped in. If they had sat back with 9 men, we probably would not have been able to break them down, and quite likely would have been countered after some comical defensive error.

I watched the game as a neutral, fantastic game. Could’ve been very different if that Dier goal had stood. Even with 9 men spurs still looked capable of getting something from the game till the late flurry
