Saw him in Philly a couple weeks before this was taped. WOW. Probably the best concert I've ever attended. Will not hesitate to buy tix next time he is near. His band is unbelievable, and I love how generously he shares the spotlight with them.
I saw them in Alabama. My daughter introduced me to the music of JJ Grey & Mofro. I've been a fan of Jonny Lang since around 1995 or so. Great show! The fans were great, too. Just a good time to be had by all.
They wear the suits in memory of JJ's gramma. She always told him that you should look classy on stage. His gramma was the most important human in his life.
@@swkelley Naaa. I disagree. It has always bothered me to see musicians (especially wealthy ones) to dress like me or worse. Show some respect and dress the part of a successful act.
@@RalphSampson... they aren't wealthy. No need to wear suites unless you're a Vegas band playing at the Casinos. The Grateful Dead was one of the best bands EVER and you'd NEVER see them wearing suits at a concert.
@@CompletelyChaotic nothing. I just think the lineup before the Greyhounds joined the band was better (but I prefer the lineup with JJ, Daryl, Fabrice, Mike and Craig). I'd rather hear the Greyhounds play their music, they're a fantastic band.
