With the shippers one i have seen videos of like combined names (like ship names) but its not like "ohhh their in love!!!" Or "they like each other" or "they're definitely dating" type of videos it's like looking at the great friendship they have between each other or another member. I have watched those videos but as soon as the edit go towards "they differently kiss in private" thats when i click off
most of those shippers has taken it so far to the point of creating rubbish fanarts of the idols which is disgusting
Ikr?? Like in the fandom of moa. A lot of us jokingly say that yeonjun an soobin are in love since yeonjun himself jokes about that he could even marry soobin if he had the chance. But i seriously hate those "fans" who se*ualize their friendship. Like come on... they have knows each other for over 6 years, so ofc they will be close but they are still friends in fact they are brothers. Even if yeonjun calls soobin his fiance jokingly, he still calls him his little brother because thats true. Its just yeonjun's personality, he calls his close friends "darling". He calls stray kids changbin darling, ateez's wooyoung darling... that doesn't make them his wife does it?
I have literally come across a short where a "fan" is saying "yeonbin is real, they are married couple because they have same ring, haters will say they are brothers and friends"

Ships aren't bad, because it's just an expression of fandom (like fanarts, edits and more) the problem is how "fans" ship them, usually being intense and toxic to the point of being cringey. Clearly there are limits and fans need to learn it because how is it possible? hate and do stupid things just for that? come on

I also want to add that there is a whole subcategory of twt kpop fans who love to dogpile on people who have a different opinion. The types of fans who'll never quote a tweet being rude unless everyone else is doing it. They basically use the fact that everyone is ratioing them as a shield to spew hate and negativity. Sometimes I'll see tweets where someone just says they don't like a comeback, and the quote tweets will be in the THOUSANDS. Like... The overkill/dogpiling is so unnecessary. But I notice this isn't just an issue with kpoptwt but twt in general.

About the shippers, while I do like to see interactions between members, I don't want to assume whether they're LGBTQ or not or ruin their relationship with one another to avoid such shippers.
As a kind of a shipper myself, I hate it when ppl are like “Oh they are so dating!” “They are gay” like sthu what you think you doing- I’ll be watching like a cute vid or smth and then these ppl come out of nowhere and casually ruin whatever fun I was having while watching the vid. Don’t get me started on those ppl who come to other ship vids just to brag about their ship like why can’t we just enjoy cute interactions instead of turning this into some sort of weird crazy TikTok drama battle of the ships or smth. Like keep it at an unserious level- Nothing has been confirmed.

kpop stans that criticize(or even straight up hate sometimes)other groups and idols but get really sensitive when people criticize their favs in the same :/ they always use “they worked hard!” excuse and yes they did and so do other idols! that doesn’t mean that people can’t critique their performance or art as long as they’re not straight up hating them on a personal level, i really can’t stand people like this because they think criticism hurts their favs feelings and they have no problem doing the same thing to other idols
I would like to humbly add: company stans 🙃 Still can't believe they exist! Sure, give companies credit when it's due, but to constantly take a company/label's side to the extent that they downplay any mistreatment being experienced by idols (or refuse to think a CEO can do wrong), I think that's just a fundamental misunderstanding of how idols live and work, and of how janky so much of the K-pop industry actually is.
