I am as well. You are not alone. I am 18 and I sometimes cry about all the things I won't get to do like other people my age, but it is still me who defines the limits and how much I let my scares take a toll on me.

I can totally understand what you’re going through I have EDS and I’m constantly in pain and it’s hard to do my job without being in pain due to my shoulder popping out of place ( I am a housekeeper at a local bowling alley, and I clean the tables and pop goes my right shoulder). Sia also has EDS.

Nothing is more powerful than true love. For the last year, I've been cut off from everyone in my life. Ever since my girlfriend of 2 years passed away, I haven't been able to snap out of it. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't stop thinking. She was so good to me. Never cheated, never lied, never talked to me without saying I love you. Sometimes she would sit there and say it a thousand times. Every time we had an argument, she would say it until I calmed down. Hugged me when she knew something was wrong. Didn't speak when she knew I was tired of hearing what others had to say. Truly a humble human being. She always cried when she saw me. Now that those days are gone, all I can do is live how she wanted me to. I know it is going to be hard, but I'm grateful she gave me the opportunity to feel like someone understood. You see, it took me a little while to realize, no one really understands you except for your true love. No one. Everyone reading this, please know, you'll be ok. You've gone through the worst, I know. Don't stand down when you are called to the stage. Don't let people down when you make promises, and don't leave the people who need you the most.

I can appreciate your sentiment, but if you or anyone else reading this has ever been suicidal, then you'll probably understand that the last thing you're doing at that point is thinking rationally. You can be in a place where you genuinely believe that not being here anymore is the "right" thing for the people around you, including the ones you love, that you're sparing them from the harm you feel you're doing by your continued presence. That's the problem, it can feel like the right solution, even though it never is. Having the right kind of support for you as an individual, at the right time can help you understand that it's a very permanent response to what may turn out to be temporary problems, but when your mind is telling you that it is the solution, then taking that step to seek support just seems like a step backwards into more pain, more problems, back to what you were trying to get away from and "nobody can/will be able to help". But you aren't weak, you aren't a failure for how you feel and the world probably won't be better off without you. This may be the only life you'll ever have, you have as much right to it as any other human being that's ever been, you owe it to yourself not to give up on that. Try again, keep going, even if you can't think of a single reason why you should, just keep going anyway.

Sia saved my life.. In the 2018 new year i found out about her(around 4-5 days before) and i started listening to soom well be found! Around thw 2018 new year i was in depression.. when it was 12 am and the fireworks started , i was thinking about her music (i memorized A FEW songs back then) .And after The New year i started do more research about her and i started to like her very much . And thats how i am here . I love my story which made me to listen to sia. ALSO i need to mention the song soon we'll be found was on my recomandations. Sorry for my english .

When someone like me, is nostalgic for 70's 80's 90's songs, it is difficult to listen to nowadays music.

If dua rejected this song, then she did well... She couldn't have given this song life just as Sia has done.
I don't think Dua rejected it because they wrote it together, they may be agreed to let Sia take this song
I'm not sure when this happened but hearing Dua's most recent album this song would not fit in there which might have been one of the reasons she rejected it.
I think this is a fairly simpler song written as per sia standards.... Definitely wouldn't have matched dua's current project, so maybe sia just recorded it.
But Sia's voice is gold, it can make anything sound good.
