great vid I enjoyed the details...I'm making almost the same system in a couple months...if I can get 42KW/day I'd be real happy, in Arizona, not sure where you are but you must also get a lot of sun...they say you don't need a DC disconnect for this system for some reason, I think because you can just unplug the mc4 connectors easy enough...would love to see how you're connected to grid, for some reason nobody ever shows that part...did you use a double breaker and put the black to one and white to the other and then ground to the side bar??? would love to see a grid tie pic please??

Why not use an usb extension cord and bring the dongle inside?

Hi, If the box that houses the Growatt is all metal, the wifi will not work well. Wifi does not penetrate metal very well. I couldn't tell if the door to the box is metal.

12.6.21 Hello, I am currently trying to do the same thing you are doing with the 6000TL-X Gird Tie..
Questions: Where did you get that metal box that the Growatt and other components are sitting in? Could you list what the other components are?
What happens to any excess watts that are produced? I did see at that end of video you have an older power meter and spinning backward so the excess watts are being a benefit to you. What if you had a more current digital meter?
Nice how to video. I liked your idea on the usb wifi dongle to see if could gain a getter signal if used a usb cable to move inside your barn.
I see that there are the x xe xh models. Don’t know what those mean.

    Hi Tate.
The AC terminals on the plug are marked G,L, & N.
How did you wire these to your panel?

Great setup! I am trying to do the same. Can you share the models of the AC and DC breaker? Where did you buy them?

You have a practically maxed out 6k system and it's making like... 21 kwh a day?

On best days i'm making about 42-44 kW per day. So far sense installed I have made 4859.9 kW. And at the time of this comment, I have 39 kW to day. I think there was one day last year when I first installed it I might've bumped 50 kW that day.
I have another 40 panels I have to get installed, I need to get them up but I haven't had time to. If I ever get it all together I'll have about 70@250w panels up, that will give me about 17.5 kWh.
I ended up having to replace a couple of those panels that were up there because two of them failed sense installed.
