Think Dragon Fyre as an OG deserves at least an announcement. Being able to say good bye is all I’d ask. Time Warp I’d understand no announcement. I’m 100% certain a coaster is leaving. Brendan had me convinced it was the Bat. I don’t see Time Warp without Flight deck. They will need another new attraction built before they take out two coasters hence Dragon Fyre vs the Bat. Land looks too valuable with go kart and rip tide. The wooden coasters still get lines. They need work though - WB is worth saving imho.

The company isn't selling off any parks at this point. Instead what they're currently doing is evaluating the attractions at each park to determine what's best for removal and replacement.
You do realize these are just speculations right?... obviously, the information he gathers is not all going to be 100% truthful sources, it's mostly rumours, data gathering and sharing thoughts on what MIGHT happen with these attractions, etc. He's mentioned that a couple of times throughout his videos, even in this one. So I don't really understand why that's an issue on your end?
I'd keep Wilde Beast, but it does need alot of work. refurbish or retrofit it and get new trains, But the go karts can go, they almost need to at this point. thats like an acre of good land being ill used. I'm not sure I would be too gung-ho about removing two coasters and replacing it with one, unless it was time-warp and Flight deck. I'd put the RMC over that way and use the Kingswood plot of land for that, unless theres a hotel going there, which seems unlikely.
Im stoked about Alpen Fury, and saddened about the potential removal of dragon fyre.. however, If it is removed, it would be a personal dream come true for an RMC to take its place, but i know it's not gonna happen. Nice to dream though! 😂

There's definitely something up at KD with the closing of their go karts as that'd open up a substantial plot of land to work with. The new company is evaluating each park to see what takes up a lot of financial resources to maintain and operate as well as the overall guest popularity of these attractions which explains why high maintenance rides like KK are being removed meanwhile less popular attractions like GL are slated for reremoval as there's no real advantage to spending money on maintenance and operations for an attraction with low overall ridership.
I just really hope that when the day comes that they decide to remove Vortex they give the public some sort of heads up so that I can go and just ride it all day as a goodbye. It's my favorite coaster. I also like the over the shoulder restraints these older coasters use, Dragon Fire, Vortex, The Bat, because they usually mean I can ride them. I'm a bigger guy and lap bars like the ones on the B&Ms and some of the flat rides just don't accommodate me and I can't ride them. Dragon Fire was one of the ones I could ride still.
This may be me wishing too hard but look at the plot of land...go karts bye, dragon fire RIP, and wilde beast - to sleep.... maybe a "Really Monsterous Claim" has risen in Medieval Faire.

Admittedly Dragon fyre was the ride that got me into coasters so I'm prob biased. Nothing beat going on the behemoth during a lightning storm in some heavy downpours (it was opening week and the people were pissed after 4 hours sitting in line so they let us on).

At first, I thought the ride could be getting an upgrade but at the same time, it’s an old ride that almost never gets a line. It’s just taking up space. While it ISN’T a bad ride by any means, something even better could go there. Like usual, I don’t have a set opinion. Just speculation. Even if it does get an upgrade though, I’m unsure if that’ll make too much of a difference in pulling lines anyway. I gotta say the main reason people are upset about the possibility of its removal is because it’s a classic coaster. At least from what I’ve seen. “It’s an OG, it can’t go”. I mean, would you rather a coaster take up space getting such low ridership or replace it with something BETTER? Hm. Just thinking about it from other perspectives.
When I was younger I would go to Canada's Wonderland at least a couple times a year and I would almost always start with Dragon Fyre! Hopefully they keep it but you never know

Take a look at the other side of the park where a nice and juicy plot of land where two really intolerable coasters stand. One is flight deck, an slc and the other is time warp, a volare. What could stand there instead would be a nice invert or wing coaster by b&m in their former place. With Dragon fyre i can actually stand and like riding. Those two, hell no

Dont expect an announcement about its removal just like all the other rides that are getting removed without announcements This is typical cedar fair behavior and seems to be a new trend closing attractions without making a official statement about it. @michaezell4607 no I was joking, but it did happen in the 80's! This is from Wikipedia- Screamroller at Worlds of Fun was a common corkscrew layout found at multiple parks and was built by Arrow Dynamics in 1976 In 1983, Arrow designed its own stand-up train for the attraction, and the ride was subsequently renamed ExtremeRoller after the trains were added. The original sit-down trains were reinstalled several years later. Arrow retrofitted another coaster in 1984 called River King Mine Train, which originally debuted at the grand opening of Six Flags St. Louis in 1971. Arrow added stand-up trains for the 1984 season, and the attraction was renamed Rail Blazer. The track wasn't intended for use with stand-up trains, and a fatal accident in 1984 - involving a passenger that was ejected from her seat - prompted a recall of the trains. The original trains and name of the ride were restored in 1985.

We have winter months here where no construction can happen. Good speculation would be since all of the construction vehicles are there for Alpen Fury, that the park is going to repair and fix everything else that needs to be done. Chances are since Dragon Fury is an old part of the park, that there are lines and such that need to be replaced. Doing this work while the construction stuff is there already would be cheaper. There's permits to remove Hurler at Carowinds?
Yeah we're going to need to see a source for that. The only permits spotted so far have been for Green Lantern, Twister and the parachutes ride at SFGAdv
@@StormBreakr yeah, the only thing about Hurler is there's markers around it and Cyclone but those could really mean anything.
Considering how small of a looper dragon fyre is, I can definitely see it being removed instead of refurbished. From what I've seen, there is no line for it ever anymore.
I just went on it and I like it but if it does get removed that would be a really sad thing
2:51 Yeah, when he said Dorney Park would likely be sold off soon, then suddenly, survey markings around the park waterslides appeared. This tells you that this TH-cam channel jumps the gun on the first source without processing the proper and truthful information before uploading it to TH-cam. The Coliwood Studio TH-cam channel is way better than Amusement Insiders IMO.

Idk how many times he has to say it’s all just speculation.

Why would the markings be for Riptide? Do its power/water lines run under Dragon Fyre?
It might
Wouldn't make sense. Dragon Fyre was built years before Riptide.
Brendok Dragon Tyler was my first upside down ride at Vonderland. I sad if goging away.
Its old and run down. But it always gets huge lines and I personally see no reason to rip out rides that are still popular.

There is no reason to remove this Arrow Looper coaster called Dragon Fyre! Dragon Fyre is the same arrow looper as the Bat but The Bat goes backwards.
Remove Dragon Fyre, remove the Go Karts, remove Wild Beast and put an RMC in place of all of it.
I agree on the go karts there are plenty of places for go karting around the area

De todos modos pocos se subian a ese cacharro, sin embargo el parque no tuvo la atención de comunicarnos , el porque de esa decisión
See what you’re saying. I’m not sure I want it to go, but if it’s time they should do a send off.
Skyrider got something at least.
It'd be sick if they were making room for a b&m wing that interacts in some way with front gate similar to cedar point, plus a full overhaul for front gate

Literally named 2 of my 3 favourite rides in Wonderland :( Wildebeast was great for doing a couple "elbow jabs" with my sister claiming it was the "wild ride." Too many good memories of that. Admittedly Dragon fyre was the ride that got me into coasters so I'm prob biased. Nothing beat going on the behemoth during a lightning storm in some heavy downpours (it was opening week and the people were pissed after 4 hours sitting in line so they let us on).
@@zxien1A lightning storm with heavy downpours!?! Isn't that very unsafe?)
@@dreamy.reader52 Yes very much so. Got the adrenaline rush going for sure though, and each raindrop felt more like hail being pelted at you because you were going through the rain so fast. Will never forget that experience it was my first time on that ride along with my 3 older siblings. They did make an announcement "go on at your own risk." I guess to make them less liable if anything did happen. Whether or not that would work in court who knows lol.
@@zxien1 Well, I'm glad you were safe and had a great experience. But I feel like that ride op should be fired, nothing is above safety.
I'd hate to see either Dragon Fyre or Riptide go. Riptide would be amazing again if they just fixed the fountain to get the face blasting back on hot days.
Why the bat, time warp or flight deck arent #1 boggles my mind.. but interesting 🤷♂️
As he’s said I think the dragon fyre land is more valuable right now
excuse me? The land it sits nearly directly under leviathan so you can only add a low coaster like an intamin straddle
@ not true
Another one that can absolutely go!
I see it going. We get a new/expanded medieval area, with a new Mack extreme spin or Vekoma Flying like F.L.Y
Area meaning plaza for the new coaster
Remove it, make room for that B&M wing.
There are a lot of other coasters I would remove before Dragon Fyre
Hopefully they keep it but you never know
You don't need ground markers to upgrade the trains or brakes...
Six flags just announced the 2026 attraction "Canada’s Wonderland will add a new record-breaking water attraction", so Dragon Fyre replacement in 2027, or will 2026 include a dry park attraction?
It's alpine fury
Say good bye to dragon fire, I always thought this coaster was to slow sorry
I dont understand why they would wanna remove such a historical coaster for this park. I get its made by arrow dynamics and they aren't in business anymore but come on. Those two, hell no
I love me a good Arrow, but this one hurts. The last time I went on it, I whacked my ear so hard.
Whats the point of removing it?
Its under Leviathan so you can barely replace it with anything

Dont expect an announcement about its removal just like all the other rides that are getting removed without announcements This is typical cedar fair behavior and seems to be a new trend closing attractions without making a official statement about it. To be real and honest the park is under no obligation to inform anyone of the removal of a roller coaster or attraction. There is no law stating that they have to inform the public about anything they are planning to do.

An arrow looper being converted to floorless or stand up ? I highly doubt it.
@michaezell4607 no I was joking, but it did happen in the 80's! This is from Wikipedia-
Screamroller at Worlds of Fun was a common corkscrew layout found at multiple parks and was built by Arrow Dynamics in 1976 In 1983, Arrow designed its own stand-up train for the attraction, and the ride was subsequently renamed ExtremeRoller after the trains were added.
