He seems like a class act. I believe that Sam found a home with Mn. Sam’s playing great ball now and a guy who’s a team player. The respect Purdy gave Sam and he was correct. The backup teacher helped Mr. Irrelevant become a good ball player. I’m hopeful that Darnold will continue to lead the Vikings past the Lion’s in Detroit. We shot ourselves in the foot last Lions meeting at home. It’s not likely to happen again in Detroit. We win NFC North and we end up with the Coach of the year. Love ur Podcast. Hell, I’m Irish and my Dad like you thought he was Norwegian. Picked Harring and Lutfisk. I would come home from Football practice or Christmas break after our season end. I would smell Lutefisk and right to the peanut butter jar. We just need to stop shooting ourselves in the Red Zone. Skol from Thailand

Andy said: Jones as a backup in 2025 @ about the 3:40 mark. Nothing with JJ as being a backup. A lot hinges on what happens with Darnold (where he goes). Maybe Jones can be the backup next year.
I dont know man. I know JJ has the inside track but at the same time you never know until they get out on the field. I still believe in the best man for the spot. If you just hand it to JJ I think you are doing him, the team and the fans a disservice. Put out the best guy for the job. It wont be Darnold as much as I would like to keep him the difference between him and getting a couple of players for that $55 million that he is going to get on the open market tips the scales towards JJ. Now that says nothing about DJ. If he outplays JJ, then give him the ball and give JJ another year to marinate and learn.
@ JJ is already sitting and learning the offense in and out the only way for him to get better now is for him to play it’s his job this is what we drafted him for
@@Ttay438 I disagree. You still get better by practicing with your team and the coaching that you receive. Jordan Love and many others have sat for 2 years before and look at him now. If JJ is not ready next summer you dont just hand him the ball with a team with championship mindset and say sink or swim. Especially if there is a viable option that is performing better and gives you the best chance to win now. They have a championship roster now and they will be big spenders next off season. Do you really throw out a rookie QB just because of his draft status? His time will come when he is the best option to win not because of his draft status.
So you saying somebody that has been learning this offense for the whole year !!!should sit behind a bum that just lost his job and has to less time to learn the offense hell no we then plan was for JJ to play in 2025 so let’s stick with that plan
Jones has played with crappy teams, and I think on a talented team like the Vikings, he could be every bit as effective as Darnold (no offence to Darnold). One thing I really believe he could do is help us on short yardage situations, because he's a strong runner and tough to bring down.
Colts? Raiders'.. long list of QB needy teams for depth. injuries nick josh scramble playbook was hard. Now its better for a balance Cams young enough Jones runs so hard its hard to see him again without more beef in Free agents to push bradberry and a young version of risenr to take advantage of the golden gen
This IS an upgrade even if you hate it.
I like how you still call him Kurt.
This guy is ULTRA competitive. I believe he will start again at some point. Hes really like a shark out there…. Relentless
An amazing situation! It will be very interesting to see how this plays out! SKOL
If it somehow ends up being the purple bowl, I like the Vikings chances now more than ever (IYKYK)
Lamar trembling at the thought of Danny Dimes
Great hire. With injuries and Sam leaving next year this is a smart move. Welcome Daniel. He is on a good team now. 😊

Are we really sure about mccarthy?
Just go watch his tape. He's got everything it takes to be great, especially if you look at the caliber of the rest of the 2024 QB draft class.
He looks like a young Rich Gannon😮
Where is this JJ being a backup stuff coming from

Daniel Jones kind of looks like young Bruce Campbell.
Army of Darkness!!!
Whatever happened to the Mormon Missile
49er
Seattle poached him I think

New outro music??
What he's probably actually thinking is: some game darnold might throw 3 picks then I'm the Vikings qb

Hey Andy...You get a cup of soup with that shirt?
Daniel Jones had a worse situation than Andrew Luck
DJ beats Cousins in first round of playoffs 41-0 😂😂😂
It kinda looks like the top brass are a bit worried about JJ McCarthy
We'll see kiddies. Now go beat those cardinals SKOL
He looks like a combination of ponder and luck
