    It is really interesting but I wish the redshift nodes window would be larger so that we can see the nodes when you work with them, I got completely confused towards to the second part of tutorial. Nevertheless the fist part helped me to get a good texture!

      Because it is not taught in many universities as a production tool for character animations and VFX. They just say it's for motion graphics and newcomers will believe what they hear. Now after learning a software, it's hard to switch unless it's giving you a headache.

      I think people name the function of a software based on it's first purpose. C4D does everything 3ds Max and Maya can do. Likewise the others. We just need to know how to apply them in each software. 3ds max, for instance, was easy for me to learn, because I used the idea from Cinema 4D. So the software doesn't matter actually. Its understanding the tools for what purpose you need them.
