@@juanortizsnt The thing is that they predicted exactly how the fight ended. Valley of the End got completely destroyed and there was no clear victor. I honestly think thay Kishimoto got the idea for the statues getting destroyed from this cutscene.
It's 2022 and this is still cool.

What I like the most about this opening cutscene, is that the final battle is depicted exactly as what we could think of it at the moment, with them just using taijutsu and kenjitsu, Sasuke just using Nagashi all over the place and Naruto spamming Rasenshuriken (in his opening)

the awkward moment is when In-Game Anime cutscenes are better than in the anime itself.
I mean its easier to animate a 2 min long sequence than animating a whole 500 episodes you know
I used to look forward to that fight between Naruto and Sasuke. But they dragged on and changed it to while new level. Still remember the first time I played this game back in 2012 and got into watching Naruto.

@@Fan00279ikr, i was sooo looking forward to it as well but it never happened. And there was another cool fight between Naruto and sasuke in strom 3 but only very last part of it was included in anime. When Naruto saves sakura from sasuke and exchange blows. Here this one.

Pow verdade, vacilo não terem colocado o Generations e o Revolution no Storm legacy, esses jogos eram muito maneiros, único jeito de jogar agora é comprando um Xbox ou um Ps3 ou esperar sair um emulador 😂 mas enfim, foram bons tempos.

@cwasc Yeah Yamato told Naruto if he truly cared about Sasuke then he will beat him with his own powers and not the powers of the 9tails. He said 9tails power isn't his true power and he should only fight Sasuke with his true power and shouldn't rely on the power of the fox.

I can agree with what two people and likely a few more said here (too lazy to scroll more but certain same ideas and views. Along with people in the recent 2-3 years of my comment), that it was fitting for them to fight the final valley.
What I find interesting here is, apart from the moment he activates his sharingan in his left eye (which could be during the 5 kage summit), most of their fight at the Final Valley, we don't ever see his eyes and if we do, it's just his right side, never spoiling us that he'll get the rinne-sharingan during/before their final fight

It's funny. Every time Naruto appears fighting Sasuke he is always in the Sennin Mode... In that OVA and in this Opening. Why not use the Kyuubi Mode?

I never understood why Kakashi didn't interfered jesus christ. If he truly believed Sasuke couldn't be saved, then he would've just kamui'd his head off, even if he and Naruto aren't children anymore, he still is the oldest and should atleast _try_ to help him go back to light.
It's really hard to pull off kamui on a moving target, just look at the Deidara part. Plus, Obito was there, and at this point everybody thought the guy was friggin Madara Uchiha. Kakashi most likely figured that the battle was unwinnable and decided to live and fight another day.
