i just got my first pair NMD R1s a few weeks ago and i absolutely love them, super comfortable.
I own the XR1 Primeknit and I put my Ultra Boost insole in and it definately felt wayy more comfortable. Close to ultra boost comfort.
I remember seeing an NMD OG model knock off on Wish and falling in love with the silhouette. On the site they didn't post its name for obvious trademark reasons, so I never thought I'd be able to find out what kind of shoe it was. But one day I stumbled on the last pair a local EbLens had, and it's easily still my favorite shoe. This was 2 years ago and I still have the same pair thanks to your Boost restoring method!!
I have 3 pairs, if I’m doing something that requires a rough outsole I just wear my vans, but for every day just run and go, having multiple pairs definitely helps keep the outsole fresh. They have basically no damage on the “tread” and I just keep a dif pair of ultra boosts for “beaters”
Pureboost honestly is for all round any sports activity. The boost is more firmer slightly firmer than the NMD.
Ultraboost is mainly for comfort and running, i dont see many people rocking UB when they lifting weights cus the boost is slightly softer. ( which some complain its a little imbalance dude to the softness of the boost)
NMD is great for casual wear or someone who is looking to get a sneaker that would last quite a while. However the EVA plugs get creases over time so you have to put heat to get it expanded and the crease wouldn’t be too obvious. The boost isnt as soft as the ultraboost but isnt as firm as the pureboost is a mix of both which is why is more suitable for casual wearz
Hopefully this helps the people out there who are looking to pick either one of these shoes up.
Edit : i wear an ultra boost 4.0 size US 10.5 and a mesh upper NMD_r1 size US 10.

Ive always gotten used to air maxes because of their nike air but after wearing nmds, im in love with boost
I think the R2 is fire, especially the triple black coming up. The CS2 is also dope, I just think more eye catching colorways need to be released for both models.
found some energy boost and clima cool boost at outlets for $35...the hype of the nmds don't justify me seeking them out over other boost models if the price isn't right

I'm from New Zealand and there is no heat you can pick up really so I bought nmd's online and when they came in the boost wasn't quite what I expected
I don't mind people sleeping on these other nmds cause I was finally able to get some xr1s in my size and triple black with pk
Trying on the ultraboost uncaged and the nmd xr1s I didn't like how the ultraboost hugged the top of my foot while I did enjoy how the xr1s hugged the toe area a bit more, and not having an insole means it's way easier to wear them without socks.
Love what Adidas is doing with more styles than just some ogs cause the ogs sell out to the hardcore sneaker heads while people like me who enjoy the looks and stuff but don't want to pay too much cause I'll be wearing them daily can still get in on the fun!

I bought the NMD R2 "Bred" and they are fire. Stretchy primeknit , soft boost , true to size. The R2 is more comfortable than an R1 and XR1.

Got 4 different pairs...the last pair were the NMD R1 Primeknit which I am wearing as I type this- got them for only $40 (were $170 at one stage!) The NMD R1's are the only ones which appeal to me. On my feet they are not the most comfortable shoes but because they are missing the insole they have that cool sleek, low profile.

React. Bought the legend react and they feel good, but not as good then the epic and odyssey react
Nike react is more comfy but won't even last a year wearing them they break down so easily

Does this happen to anyone else? My back pods are tearing and exposed the inside part of it, while the front pods adidas print is almost gone. Also, why do so many people say boost feels like pillows? My nmds just feel flat and not cushioned at all.

I just bought a pair of NMD R1 PK (Prime Knit?) and I love them, with an increase in shoes being just one piece, I've had a difficult time finding shoes that fit comfortably since my feet are very wide. While I do think the small amount of traction will be a problem I'm just happy I found a pair that fits. I would love to buy a pair of Ultra boosts but since no store near me has them in stock trying them on isn't an option. For anyone thats happens to own NMD PK and ultra boosts, do they fit similar to one another?

Do you know how adidas just released phone cases? They should make boost phone cases. That would be the ultimate protection and the hype beasts would swoop it up. it would be a continental outer shell with holes like ultraboost and a boost inside to protect the phone. it would slip on like usual rubber cases. that would be sick!

In Germany everyone wears NMD_R1 and ultra boost. But I still wanted a boost shoe so I bought Pod s3.1
I love the NMDs I just love the way they look on feet and with the pods top it off I dislike the kicks without the adidas 3 strips also prefer the R1 to me they look the best I have not gotten a pair of PK really want to try a pair the wife loves hers. I tried the ultraboost and for some reason it really hurt my feet but the NMDs don't Im confused why that is it hurts the inside of my foot. Maybe because I have wide feet?
Are these good for standing? I stand for about 5-7 hours a day in one spot on cement or on metal press boxes.

Coming from the EQT 93/17 aka the boost god, it was a bit of a let down when I got my Nmd's but nevertheless they are still very comfortable.
I like the nmd even more then ultraboost, even if the ultraboost are softer, because i like that you are standing right on the boost, without insole on it. I think the boost on the nmd and the ultraboost is the same.

I believe it was February 2015 (or 16), Wearing them shits sophomore year got all the eyes on ynxg boostboy and off the corny Jordans.
