The breakfast shown in this video is known as ottada and in some other areas in kerala it is known as kuthappam
All you need is ingredients like
1 cup of raw rice
¾ cup of boiled rice
¾ cup grated coconut
Salt and water
And Soak the raw rice for at least 6 hours
Add the soaked raw rice along with boiled rice and grated coconut into a mixer jar
Pour water until it covers the ingredients
Now grind into a smooth batter
Add salt and mix well
Heat a non-stick frying pan
Pour a ladle full of batter into the hot pan
You will notice small holes appearing on the surface of the ottada
Cook for 2 minutes with the lid on
Then it is ready
