I don't support people who buy from breeder. I rather adopt than shop, which I did with my three cats.

Thats good for you. But you making such a toxic statement on someone who clearly has nothing but love for her new kitten shows what kind of people you are. I think everyone is entitled to how they get furry friend without such criticism. I commend you for adopting and trying to help out a cause in your life, but I detest you for trying to push your own agenda onto others with your “adopt don’t shop” mentality. Have some decency to other cat lovers. Otherwise I’m led to believe everyone who adopts cats love to criticize more than the cats themselves.

@@golfiesabprasong3624 that comment isn't "toxic" and I wholeheartedly agree with it. I help with rescue, TNR, and feed a colony of 6 as well as my 5 indoor cats... ALL of which are rescues directly from the street. One, Fury, actually looks and acts like a Ragdoll (except he doesn't have blue eyes.) I take issue with people who pay 1,000 bucks for a cat from a breeder, then claim they "adopted" the cat. No, Honey, you didn't "adopt" the kitten, you "bought" her and supported a breeding situation. The fact is we have an overpopulation of cats and breeding more doesn't help the situation. My guess would be this entitled young lady chose a Ragdoll as a "prop" for future videos. And, yes, this comment is negative. Perhaps if you spent time with people doing TNR and rescue and witnessed the devastating impact that cat overpopulation has on the cats and the communities where they live, you'd have a more negative outlook on breeders, too.

@@golfiesabprasong3624 Agreed. I couldn't have phrased this better. I love the beautiful variety of breeds and wouldn't want a day where this wonderous variety didn't exist. People should choose their furchild with out being shamed for it.
