PP is an intellectual, unlike NaMo. Unfortunately the Bhakts, and the paid thousands of them, will label him an urban naxal(??), an anti national, etc. etc. Let’s face it. The Congress is a joke, the so called opposition does not exist and almost all politicos and Babus who matter can be bought or coerced into submission. So it’s NaMo in 2024. Unless the RSS declares otherwise. The RSS is the smartest outfit in India today. Their only Achilles heel is the obsession with Hindi as a unifying language. But why this dogma. ?? If they stick to Bharat and Hinduvta as an ethos, they can go beyond 2024 with or without regional satraps. But NaMo will be the obstacle. Watch it unravel.

PM Modi's message of 2014 as coming of "achhe din" was promising and reminder of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's soothing messages. Within seven years aura of assurance has recceded. The address on 2021 has brought out what is locked in his inner recesses. Mind has come out as of hindutva figurehead lording over others. Partition Horrors Remembrance Day on 14 August is divisive and going back to 1947. It implies that country is going back to de-recoganise Pakistan as a separate nation. Hopefully, Pakistan would not lebel 15 August as Horrors Remembrance Day. Hate erodes a nation. Nations move forward not backward.

This was a perfect analysis of Modi’s decline . Anyway he was in no way comparable to Nehruji or Atal Behariji. As an octogenarian now,who was in the primary school, I still remember Nehruji’s Redfort address on 15 th August ,1947( heard on the PyeRadio set newly bought at home),and much later in the end of the century speech of Atalji, watched on TV in 1999, I find Modi as a very poor comparison. I greatly look forward to your Wednesday musings.Hope it awakens the India in comatose condition.

While you talk about the change in his speeches, marking his intent since 2014 to 2021, the real PM is quite obvious to the discerner. He is no Sevak. He is as weak as any other and much more boastful than any other. His failures are colossal. His achievements meagre. Only the very faithful ones need to study the speeches to analyse him. He lacks compassion and empathy hugely. He is no match intellectually for JLN, ABV, PVNR or MMS. The sooner he accepts it will be better for our country as he will operate within his capability and strength.

He is endowed with gift of the gab and as actors do on screen , he sways the audience with the theatrics through his modulation and carefully chosen sentences!! I really don't understand when will the masses see through this marvellous acting ! Till then we suffer!

Examining our PM's Independence Day speeches and attempting to analyze and interpret them is like stepping into a hall of mirrors ; a confusing, disorienting situation, where it is difficult to distinguish between truth and illusion. Mr. Modi's lament of the violence that rended our nation in 1947 was ostensibly a dog whistle---- a subtly aimed political message intended for a particular demographic group.
Our PM's oratory is a supreme elixir that instantly makes us heady but with the passage of time makes us feel abandoned.

Though we lived in Mumbai, Diwali at grandma in Machilipatnam with chinnannalu attalu and cousins was something else again. He choosen 14 August as 'Vibhishika Memorial Day' because the wound of partition is to be scratched among those who settled in the Terai areas of UP after partition and gain sympathy......it's very unfortunate and scary that PM of India is playing cheap and communal politics only to defend next prime ministerial position
This was indeed a micro analysis of all (Nation Destroyer) ND Modi’s speech as PM from Red Fort, I hope educated citizens understand it & better sense prevail in their mind to put an end to BJP’s shelf life in all coming elections.
Again a very well prepared discourse. It is possible to play act in the short period but in the long run reality emerges. This is who the PM really is as portrayed by the paradigm shift in his speeches. I wish the opposition takes note of these points and use them effectively in the run up to the next election.
