I dont use balanced direct passing now, as the press is relentless by everyone. Slow build up possession/forward runs for me now, then launching diagonals.
I used the same tactics but in balanced play for regular play. It works soo good. I am winning more games. My players are attacking fine. I am able to intercept the ball quicker.

Keep playing and playing and you'll get the reps and learn the game fundamentally - use the 4321 through thick and thin and you'll improve over time my friend!

i find it weird how i’m just more defensively solid with higher depth compared to lower with using 100 depth yes there’s the automatic press , but that aside it’s like my players just stay in there defensive shape & it’s makes it way more difficult for the opponents to break me down which helps as i’m awful in defending so to anyone that’s scared to use it just try it because it’s better than using 55 which is what i was using before
Bro I feel so inconsistent on this game I made elite yesterday on rivals and I feel like my defending was right where it should be I paid for this fifa coach to help me abit more feels like it’s made me worse I watch defending videos all the time and now I just feel like I need my defending to be more consistent any tips for this
theres no skill left in this game any tactic with the stupid 100 depth works ive tried it the game is a complete joke at best ,any formation 100 depth and ea play it for you basically a football manager game
I don’t use direct passing because after playing for a month straight with 442, 50-50-50 balanced and 0 player instructions I found movement to be a lot more random when attacking. More structured on defence and buildup. I’m convinced direct passing forces the same passages of play. But that’s just my opinion

I’m a casual player and have a 96 squad. All you have to do is play. As for pay to win, not true! Grind SBC and player picks and you get the same players, just takes time. Just because it’s a good squad doesn’t mean they are good at the game!

I use constant pressure for my defence bc my players would press more and I can get the ball quickly
It takes mad stamina from ur players tho, so unless u got a stacked bench to rotate with u might not wanna keep using it.
