Good lord the graphics are looking mighty impressive!! And not just the graphics but the minor details like birds flying, the colour pallets etc adds so much realism & a dynamic style to it!
After RR3 & nfs (nfs got 40-60 seconds long shitty as fuck “races”) this is a breathe of fresh air! Respect to the devs for not making it a lootbox fest like the rest of EA titles !😍

Finally got my hands on a A12 powered device. In iPad Mini 5 the graphics at Max is somewhere between 35~38 FPS it sure is amazing. My first target was Grid, then BrightRidge after getting the iPad.
I actually thought it would handle the max graphics pretty smoothly, as it has a lower resolution display than mine. It will handle BrightRidge for sure!
Paulo Arinto idk if I’m correct about that FPS. I’ve a recording of a race but can’t tell exact frame rate. How do you know that?
Ra y I just make an estimate from what I see when playing, because the final video FPS usually it’s lower than when it was recorded. I also have some apps to see that info.

Cool video. I have Grid Autosport too on my iPad Pro. How did you recorded the screen footage in 2K60 on your iPad? The native built in screenrecorder doesn’t support a 1440p resolution. Did you used an app for it? I want to know because the quality is really good. Thanks 🙏 in advance.
This one I used EveryCord, but now the native recorder can record 2k60, you just need to be sure that your iPad isn’t thermal throttling for a smooth record !
@@f11bot Thanks! I didn’t know the iPad can now record 2K60 natively. I have the iPad Pro 11” 2020, so I’m not worried about thermal throttling. I will look into EveryCord also. I assume that it is available on the App Store. Thanks for your reply!
You should check out battle prime the graphics are just what can I say? Console like they’re just stunning I recommend you playing it on “favor quality” settings for the best graphics

Dank Meme Master such a shame, I think it’s more for power saving than a performance limitation. They could’ve lowered a bit the resolution and put 60fps to do the same result.
But trust me, at night the game is beautiful even without the max graphics, I’ve been trying to record that but I’m having audio problems when recording in full resolution.
I think you can only get the night mode in career, with the first endurance event.

I used real racing 3 but I think more interest and more challenge is GRID.
Turn off the assist, it will be much difficult. But yeah, the AI in GRID is much more agressive.
Both are still great games to play
The reason to but iPad pro 3rd gen because grid autosport allows You to access further graphics,from high graphic to ultra
There was an update released yesterday with new graphics options, but I think the third gen iPad Pro only adds higher frame rate, the graphics remain the same.

Paulo Arinto The 2020 iPad Pro has the exact same CPU, and the GPU has 12 cores instead of 11. It’s hardly 5% better.

@@JohnJohnson-hn9fx Umm no, the 10.5 Pro has the A10X SoC, which is nowhere near as good as the A12 series. The A10X is just a bumped up A10. While it may have the same number of _cores_, the architecture and speed of each core is vastly different.
You can edit the maximum graphics in the game files. Because the settings in the game are not the highest setting.
How do I do that on iOS?
Only in Android can't access these files without jail break in iOS

@@Nutshellin-zn6pz Compared to the stuff I've played before, that's the main reasom. It's mostly been low end games for me (RR3 an exception among others but it doesn't look *terrific* for me). Either way my phone still can't support it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m in my 60s and love playing games on my iPad. I just upgraded to the iPad Pro 2021. M1 chip is awesome.
However, being my age, I never was into console games. I only owned a PS? for DVD playing. So the tilt steering adjustments might as well be in a foreign language. I haven’t got a clue what any of that means. Hence, I can’t even drive in a straight line lol.
Any advice for a beginner on the setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated. It would be nice to stay on the track for longer than 20 yards.

For the setup I don't have any particular tips, I just go messing around with the values until I'm satisfied, and I try to understand the explanation of them. Also try to work with the difficulty settings, I prefer the simulator settings so that the game doesn't control the car for me, but this game takes a while to get used to it, it has a very particular car physics...
I wish I had an M1 iPad must be so smooth playing these games!!

hey man what did you record this with? I used I think DU recorder or something on my iPad pro to record what's supposed to be 1080p at 12mbps but it doesn't look near as good as this.
I used EveryCord back then, but now there’s a sound glitch when recording so I cannot use it anymore :(

Bruh, how do I put that kind of gear on the screen? On Android I had a more advanced setting option but now on iPhone no longer
I think you have to change the manual gears mode from "nudge" to "buttons" on iOS settings, let me know if it works!

Thank you so much!! I think you’ll be probably locked at 45FPS which is not bad anyway. Then you might have a little downgrade on graphics or be the same graphics shown on the video. Buuut you can select if you want better graphics or better performance on the menu which is pretty neat! Hope this helps

Ok i got it the thing is the game is capped at 40 fps when playing in "high graphics mode" which this dude is playing it at. Its only when you switch to high performance that you get 60fps.

You can get the graphics for sure. I play on an iPad 6 and I have the option, but, it's just 30fps. I don't know if the A12 handle the graphics and the 60fps at the same time.
You can select between battery (30 fps and lower graphics), performance (60 fps lower graphics), graphics (those graphics with 30 fps). For the iPad pro there's an option to play with 60 fps and the better graphics.

oh i have to add this you can set higher graphics if you jailbreak your device. Just install Filza and go App manager in Filza. There you can access to GAS document folder. And you have to modify Preferences Data in game folder. Open it and modify gfx config sections which can be set from medium to high

ipados and ios can also edit files if you jailbreak. its like rooting android devices but for iphone. and some samsung phones like the fold will disable the camera and other features if you root but on iphone and ipad your camera doesnt stop working.

Raj Singh it’s really because of optimization, it’s a way easier to do on iOS than Android. I’m also developing a game and I won’t release on Android because it’s a hassle to make it work, and when it works it’s really unstable... needs a lot of work and sometimes it’s not worth it.
and on android piracy is a big concern , more than 90% of the ios users pay for their apps and games.

Paulo Arinto no. Flag rules like the yellow flag, during a race if a car crashes, the other cars slow down and are forbidden to overtake until the car involved in an incident recovers and get back on track with other cars. Are those in the game?

High risk. Since it’s safer to have freemium games on mobile everyone does it. No big company wants to convince investors in something risky, like a paid racing mobile game.
Very cowardly of them if you ask me, I wish we had on mobile the same quality and quantity of racing games on PSP.

This is not 60fps. 60fps is only in performance mode and saver mode.
Saver mode is 30fps
