  • Replacing the freehub driver on my profile elite cassette hub. This is the Beastmode size, 142mm spacing, and I show the Profile specific driver in black vs the shimano splined driver. You’ll see the pawls and springs and how I remove the driver from the free hub body.

Love your videos!! I use Tri-Flow inside the cassette and on all the pawls, and I use dental floss to get the pawls back in. GOOD STUFF!!

Great suggestion. I like the idea of tri flow but worried that it might cause the pawls to skip under power. No issues??

@@dadmodewheeliegang Tri-Flow has always done well for me in many different cassettes. Don't use grease though. Some cassettes come stock from the factory with grease. The grease will get gunky and can make the springs/pawls not work properly.

@@TuesdaysTurn gotcha, maybe I’ll give it a shot next time this thing comes apart

So can I buy a profile free hub driver for my stock beastmode hub? The whole hub driver is a lil $$$. I was looking at them on website but how do you know if there compatible. Thanks for all the vids 🙌

you cannot buy the free hub driver to fit a different hub .. you have to buy the whole hub because it's matched. It would be awesome if there was a way to re-use the stock hub and not have to re-lace your wheels just to change the hubs
