  • Waterloo & City Line is a short line on the London Underground, which appears greenish-blue on maps. The line was opened on July 11, 1898. It only has two stations, Waterloo and Bank (formerly called "City", hence the name of the line), passing under the River Thames.
Its utility is mainly to transport workers between Waterloo station and the City of London, so it is not useful in the late afternoon or on Sundays. It is by far the shortest line on the net, at just 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) so the journey between the two stations only takes three minutes. The line was London's second electric railway, after the City & South London Railway. (More on Wikipedia.org).

START OF THE LINE : WATERLOO
END OF THE LINE : BANK
(The downloadable line is repeated several times and that makes it longer)
