I wonder how far back in time one has to go to find a cathedral that doesn't miss out the verses 5-19 of Psalm 109. Did hear it from a visiting choir at Chester once in the mid 90s but I suspect that was because the precentor had not told them to miss it out. I hear that it was sung last night at S.Paul's but chanted in Latin; perhaps to match the Morales Magnificat. Excellent vigorous chanting none-the-less
My first cassette of psalms, a compilation of the three famous Kings records had that on (end of 137). Glad that Priory's second attempt at the complete psalms might actually be complete, unlike the first which was left to the whim of each choir so they ended up doing about 98% of the psalter.
Not listed as such, but I'm fairly sure all three chants are by Joubert as well. A proper Cathedral musician wouldn't have gone for such high reciting notes!

+Pete Smethers Yes, and what about Psalm 137 vv7-9?

One the rare occasions King's Cambridge do Psalm 109, they do the lot. It was on a webcast a couple of years ago.
These Sanders responses (i.e. NOT the crappy "Dresden" set) are really great.
