I was like maybe I'll make my own instead of buying an expensive one lol. Knowing the process, makes the price make sense. They deserve their money haha 😅😆
Thanks Adiel! I made a pendant with 2 broken pieces, here is the video if your interested How to make a Galaxy secret wood pendant | Resin Jewelryth-cam.com/video/Z5atzx-YEbU/w-d-xo.html
Thank you, Ben. I enjoyed this video. You inspired me. I'm going to attempt to make two of these, but I will have to do without the equipment (machinery) and the type of wood you demonstrated. Much love to all.
Great work brother, real classy little piece! I can't wait to re set back up my work shop! I had to move and still waiting to find a new space in this new city, but excited as i started playing with epoxy resin not all too long before I had to move, so i'm looking forward to a few of the smaller projects like this instead of jumping right into bigger forms like i was! Larger scale pours aren't cheap and take a lot more time then I had myself believing haha Keep the great vids coming, one new subscriber :)
That came out great, been thinking of ways to integrate those techniques into woodturning. Thanks for sharing. Found you through youtube's suggestions, now that I've subbed, I'll have to check out you other videos.
Abolutly awesome, when you like break something off and put resin on it, and make it in a symmetrical shape. Its so satisfying.
Brass and darker woods look so nice! Great video!
Thanks Mate
Keep making videos, you have a great on screen personality.
Thanks Jesse
That looks like a mini city that is locked up, so beautyful

I like your take on it. The rough grain on the bottom with the smooth top piece looks great!

I love this. I've been wondering how this is done after seeing some very expensive ones at a craft fair. Definitely going to try it out.
Thanks Bette
Ben, “I’m just going to use a casting resin”
Me, “ah yes, casting resin, I thought so” **whilst looking completely perplexed by the craftsmanship
I dont know about wearing that on my neck but i would def put it on my keychain.
+Adam Coyne it would definitely make a nice key chain
Nice piece but I was hoping you would have had the other broken piece as the top part.... would have looked cool as if it had been pulled apart
Jody Dunne was thinking the same thing ,still nice
Jody Dunne I think it would look like someone stops the time literally. Don’t you think?
My opinion still looks awesome

Yeah man that’s a keeper.
Hi, i have a question: Why did you square the smaller piece of broken wood? Why didn´t you leave the wood spikes on it? Excellent piece of art
Hi Zarra, Just trying something different, Thanks for watching :)
usted es un maestro!!!
Gracias!
Nice work 👌
Thanks Mate
LOVE THIS PROJECT. i am going to try to make my own.

Gorgeous
+Avion Orr Thankyou
VERY cool. Good job.
Thankyou
Awesome project! Now to figure out how to do that without all the big tools! ;)
Thanks! :)
does the wood have to have jagged edges to adhere. I'd like a smooth edge if possible
quick question, couldn't you use car scratch polish instead of the micro mesh, t-cut for instance or is it too course ?
Great video, I will try to make this someday.
Nice enough to make me sub . Good work .
Thanks mate!
Wow, I love this! What could be added to the resin to give it some color for variety?
Thankyou Cindy! You can add ink, i will be uploading a video this weekend that shows pendants with color
Wish I could by these man
Hopefully I will have some for sale soon mate!
Thank you for sharing. What do you use to bevel the edges please? I couldn't hear sorry x
I like it.
Thanks Mike
Great. 1) What wood did you use? 2) Which ones you recommend?
I wonder if I can do something similar with one of my wood katanas I make. I'll have to give it a try some day. nice video
