Hello I just came across you're channel this morning. I'm in Pickens SC . Wondering were your in Georgia ? I don't have a boat anymore and haven't been fishing in long time and lost most of my fishing buddies. I have been getting the urge to go real bad recently and want to find some spots below some dams . Never been to Russel ? Or can you recommend anywhere ?? Appreciate any info . Thanks for video
Hello Larry, thanks for stopping by and saying hi. I’m in Augusta Ga. Ive not been able to make it up to Russell yet, but there are definitely spots below Thurmond Dam you could fish for just about anything. Ga and South Carolina banks provide opportunities. Look through some of my other videos for additional strategies some of which could use from the bank. Good luck and I would love to hear if you catch something .
@@larryalexander4833 Yes, there is a pier on the SC side and a walkway that gives access to fishing the wall…but it’s a popular spot (the walkway)that only fits one fisherman😉 The GA side is Dam accessible with a little walking. There is a 35-40 ft deep hole in the Ga corner directly behind the concrete wall. Easily reached with a good cast.

I'm sorry to hear that and it's certainly not my intention. I'm trying to help others hook up and have fun. I'm moving to Savannah next month so I guess I will have a whole new group of people who will hate me. lol!
Sorriest camera work I’ve ever seen!! Did You even watch this before You put it out?? You sure do know how to film your boat while you catch fish off camera.

I used to put in on the SC side with no issues but be aware of strong currents and rising water when they start generating ;-)

@@larryalexander4833 Ga and SC have a reciprocal agreement on the Savannah River and Lakes on the border.
You are safe to fish the GA side.
