    Hi Chris! Your videos are awesome!
    Recently I bought an Anet E-10 and every time I try to print the heated bed is uneven. I dismounted the heated bed and tried to align the metal pieces the straight as possible but it continues to be uneven. If I level the margins the center stays too high and the nozzle can't extrude, if I level the center the margins stays too low. Can you help me to adjust the bed leveling? What should I do? The 3D printer version is ANET V2.0. Do you recommend me to upgrade it to Marlin 1.1.9?

    • @ChrisRiley
      @ChrisRiley  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marlin 1.1.9 is good, but probably won't help you with your bed. Is the bed flat? How it is un-level? Is it random spots or low or high on one side or another?

    Hi Chris,
    I've got some problems in upgrading the firmware of my Anet A8 to the Marlin Firmware 1.1.9. I've done everything according to your description, but when compiling the firmware, I always get a lot of error messages regarding redefining of timers (see example):
    In file included from C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\cores\arduino/Arduino.h:257:0,
    from sketch\HAL.h:36,
    from sketch\MarlinConfig.h:39,

    C:\Users\Michael\Documents\Arduino\hardware\anet\avr\variants\sanguino/pins_arduino.h:43:0: warning: "TIMER2" redefined
    #define TIMER2 5
    at the end of the compilation, the message says:
    Der Sketch verwendet 104094 Bytes (81%) des Programmspeicherplatzes. Das Maximum sind 126976 Bytes.
    Globale Variablen verwenden 4096 Bytes des dynamischen Speichers.
    So lack of memory space seems to be not the problem.
    I'm using the arduino IDE 1.8.5 (but also tried 1.8.8). When I compile the firmware for a MKS Gen 1.4 Board, there is no problem at all.
    Any idea, what could solve the problem?

    Hi Chris! Great videos mate! Very professional and pleasant tutorial! However I am having a really hard time trying to flash my Anet A8 with a v1.0 board. Can't get either my Toshiba Satellite A300 running windows7 Ultimate 64bit or MacBook Pro running OS Mojave to see the board! On Windows there seems to be an issue with the CH340g driver, won't install the driver. The installation program shows "error code 10" and when I try to update the CH340 driver it says "the driver is successfully Pre-installed in advance" and in the device manager it shows up with the yellow exclamation mark. This is really frustrating! I have tried every method I could find on the net. I have even partitioned my hard drive and installed a second Windows 7 but a 32 bit. Still the same problem. Hi Chris!. Earlier this month I bought an Anet E10 Printer. I am a beginner to this machine. its heat bed is not leveled and when I start a print filament is not feeding. I am unable to print anything until today. just now I have upgraded my machine with merlin 1.1.9 successfully without a single error. but there is another problem not X direction is not working at all.
    Please help me fix this issue.
    I used this version of merlin to upgrade my machine.
    From the description of this video.
    ANET E10 config I create in this video:

      So your X is moving in the wrong direction or not moving at all? Adjust your endstop inverting and see if that gets it moving.

      I'm seeing major issues with either Marlin 1.1.9 or Octoprint 1.3.9. I upgraded to both at the same time and there are lots of issues I'm coming across. Very frustrating.
