  • Hi peeps and welcome to another Bear report brought to you by masterwatermen.co.za and thesardine.co.za .
Well there has not been any real diving this week...so that's the bad news. The good news is that today (Friday) we have pearler conditions with 1,4m wave's from the south and the sea is glassed off! A light NE picks up later today at around 8knts only.
Sea temps are down to 20/21 degrees C and light NS current in most spots. Sardines are around in Durban bay with the netters trying their luck this morning at 7am as reported by Adam from Township Hyper. No joy really yesterday but hopefully they got some this morning. Stay tuned to the sardine.co.za for upcoming reports today.
With hightide at seven thirty tomorrow morning and glassed off conditions and swell at 1,2m Saturday is gonna be pearler conditions as well. Sunday a front comes through around 9am with a moderate to fresh SW wind. Swell at around 1.7m early Sunday morning picking up to 3m in the arvo.
So Saturday all day is top's and maybe slip in a really early bells session Sunday morning.
Daga salmon, Geelbek, Garrick, Snoek and some big blue Shad are around at the moment with the odd Couta thrown in the deep.
Natal Spearfishing Champs is still set for 17th August so get your entries in peeps! That's the trophy to be on in KZN!
We have had a smashing time this July and looking at August it's gonna be windy so pink slips this weekend and get your game on peeps!
As Always Dive Safe and Straight Spears from the Bear.
