Epenarra Women's Gospel - Song 3

In celebration of International Women's Day 2024, Winanjjikari Music Centre is unveiling a small EP offering a glimpse into a gospel recording venture. This project showcases recordings from the Alywarra, Warramungu, and Walpiri language groups residing in the Barkly Region. This sneak peak, titled "Epenarra Women's Gospel," features reflections from various members of the Epenarra Gospel Choir, situated in the remote Northern Territory's Barkly Tablelands. Historically, gospel music has served as a vital centre for communal rituals and companionship within the Barkly community. These compositions serve as catalysts for healing and guidance, promoting unity among individuals and providing a collective space for the pursuit of hope.
