I love how these can be rebuilt! It would have been nice as part of the overhaul instruction to include which components needed lube and what type is recommended.
My 1st time rebuild was successful with considerable assistance from this video. However, based on position (as installed in video) of ratchet cog for thumb lever (ie. 10th gear/smallest rear cog), the ceramic cable retaining 'pullly' at 5:49 appears to be installed incorrectly by180 degrees. I may be wrong but I rotated it 180 and cable installed/operated correctly.
Does anyone know how the aluminium bolt that acts like a stopper is called - the one that he presses to release the lever right after removing the first long bolt (the one that sticks out towards the interior side of the ergopower when it is installed on handlebars) and if there is any place that carries replacements? I have a Campagnolo Xenon Ergopower set which has these bolts missing and would love to replace them. Any place that has on-line orders would work for me as I have searched high and low but could not find anything. This video seems not to have any audio so I cannot know if he mentions what it is called.
