Honestly Denise sounds inconsiderate, I'd definitely want to know why were others kids allowed, but because op apparently never asked about it there could've been a miscommunication. Not that it doesn't seem like a snub to op in the first place, but was it pushy family bringing kids without asking? They did do a 2nd wedding without any, so was it a redo because of that? It does have the vibe that op bends themselves backwards for Denise when Denise is more casual, in the end op needs to communicate to her she feels used. Denise seems a bit spoiled so I wouldn't be surprised she just doesn't see how much op does for her, having the privilege of not working and being catered to by family (or her husband's family).
