    I wonder if the Inn is for sale. My biggest fear, every time I'm in Japan, is some realtor suddenly popping up, telling me some lovely old building (I've been staring at for a bit too long) is for sale. I. Would. Not. Hesitate.
    Actually, I just returned from a trip to Japan (this time for holiday, not business), with a bestie for whom it was her first time in Japan. Since she disliked 'the concrete jungle' we mostly ventured out into the countryside (Nagano, Gifu, Wakayama). And since I mentioned I would not be able to control myself with cute old buildings (and dreams of running a small Ryokan or cafe or tearoom) she was not very helpful by uttering "I wonder if this is for sale" whenever we saw a cute, old building.

      Right? There are so many places that one would be tempted to buy. It's dangerous! For cheap you could have a place in every prefecture. lol
