That would be a neat road trip, seeing inside the hatchery, all the variety of chicks, ducklings etc. It could be difficult to not bring home a truckload of birds!!😂
Thanks for sharing and you stay safe!!

I'm in NW Ohio and order from Cackle. Cackle is fantastic! Adorable fluffs, worth the drive I'm sure.

We enjoyed the road trip for sure. The other connecting building of Cackle's from where we picked up the chicks had windows in to it. There was a couple rows of telephone answering and computer people. It's an amazing business and they do a great job.

Lived in the Lebanon area whenever we lived in Missouri. Have known a lot of people who have worked for Cackle. Enjoy your chicks. Nice road trip

When I was little in Ark. my mom ordered chicks by mail. The mailman dropped them off first on his route. He told her the cheeping would drive him crazy, lol.

Lol, I can understand that! They make a considerable amount of noise for such tiny creatures 🥰

I had some Pearl white leghorns, they definitely lay very well!! Lots of eggs in your future! 😃💚

We added to our chickens today, we got a straight run of mixed. They are mostly pets to my grand, that's ok ill take the eggs😊

With our mixed a couple years ago we got some beautiful chickens including some Easter eggers. The lay some pretty eggs. I'm not crazy bout the white eggs but I've eat em for years and lived so I guess they are fine. Were gonna keep for sure some of our brown egg layers though. Any of them are richer than store bought though!

There nothing like a road trip, letting them hear your voice and get used to you
