SIP particularly in sector funds is very risky. If you can gauge the growth of the sector in 1,2 or 5 years the risk is worth taking. I made SIP in a pharma fund in 2011 because a number of patented drugs were going off patent in the US. There was an opportunity and we capitalized on that. That involves deep, day to day study of the sector. Otherwise, better to stay off.

Well said sir🎉🎉🎉.but compared to 2008 now situation is completely different in 2024. At that time number of Dmat accounts were less than 50lakhs , now it is more than 15 crore and at that time the montly SIP amount is few hundred crores, now it is more than 20000 crores. My view is, there is a less probability to crash more than 15% ,provided same Amount of SIP continues to flow in market. Correct me if I am wrong .Thank you.

Still SIP books numbers are increased from last 3 years…. Because many of retail investors are doing by auto debit.. so when salary came automatically it will deduct from their salary..How many years it will works let’s wait and watch ,,,,!,,,

@viki19910 but SIP or buy on dips is also not a good investing. You need to know the value of the business and buy below the value. It's not the same as buy on dips. For example: if a company trading at 100x earnings and falls 10% doesn't mean you can buy the company since there is a dip. Unless the company goes below its fair value, even it falls 50% still it is expensive to buy.
Based on your advice and after watching somany of your team's weekend webinars, I made lots of changes in my Folio and also the method at which I was making investment in SIP earlier. I have kind of diversified across various funds and also increased my exposure now in multiasset, debt and bluechip. Thanks Guru

Stock service to small investors will not work efficiently. The service is never going to deliver the expected results. I will only work where I can control the quality and delivery.
For that you have to get his service.. His target is you... To set you in fear of losing capital and making you as his client, at the end of the day he will be your investment partner

I am getting 30 xirr for past 8 months sip. No thematic funds
@viki19910 XIRR is valid on long run only... if you get this even after doing SIP for more than 5 yrs then you are great
My current xirr is 30 and doing sip for 2yrs. But it's inflated and expect it will gradually decline to 15% going forward. Still 15% xirr is good😊
