- When we arrived in Mawphanlur (West Khasi hills, Meghalaya) we came to know that all the homestays were booked. Then the friendly people of the town, including the headman, helped us find the homestay-and it turned out to be the best homestay in Mawphanlur!

Mawphanlur is another and 2nd largest plateau range in meghalaya which is called the Mawthadrishan plateau ranges after Shillong. Form here during clear sky you can view the foot of the Himalayan ranges.
