If that makes any sense lol so to me when I watch this video, what I see is that, each of them are finally coming into the fullness of Their artistic and music abilities. I think this is the first time I’ve seen them in outfits that are still cohesive, but they are very unique to the personality of each person. So it’s them, and then each of them have their own unique skill, and “power“ that they are using to conquer the status quo, which would be that giant Squishy dummy person that’s hooked up to all those wires that controls all of those faces at the beginning of the video with a QR code mask. If anyone has a better maybe more in-depth explanation as to what they see I would love to know, but that’s more of my nutshell version. They are really coming into the fullness of who they are not just as a group individually. And they are really coming to smash the status quo of the music industry as a whole. Which is kind of in the MO from the beginning lol at least for Simon, and his means of accomplish accomplishing this is through the vehicle of XG.

To add a perspective: imo there are multiple 300, obvious Mononoke Hime, Hunger Games, Banksy, Love Death Robots, Alita Battle Angel, Alien, Hisono (japanese painter from the 20th) and European and Japanese dryads and naiads ( forest and water feminine divinities) references/inspo. All playing to together to bring symbolism and story telling in their concept of them taking over the artistic all over pop world, but also in a nature/ecology vs technocratic capitalism (hence the qr codes) way, and also an emphasis on calm strength (maybe in a feminist way)? Music is totally supported and complimented by the visuals, instead of just being a nice additional marketing move. Same shit with the unity they have, while clearly emphasizing their individuality and personnal styles (in everything). Only my opinion, but yeah that is what I thought:)

The dragon in the MV looked like those from Chinese mythology (where their dragons are more water based than fire based) but Ik there’s a lot of cultural overlap btw china, japan, and Korea so I could be wrong
