Aw, thank you Prof Lieu! I'm so glad to have helped inspire your approach to this piece! I'm excited to see how it turns out. Your pastel drawings always amaze me.
I loved this drawing process. I like very much using crayons and pastels because they help me with this blur effect that is wonderful. Amazing work professor Lieu! ~ I loved the: by the way... this is red... - and I was here thinking that it was so orange-
We're so happy you liked the video! We have a few more pastel lessons here if you'd like to check them out: artprof.org/?s=pastel - Mia Rozear, Art Prof Staff
I initially used to work with acrylics but felt like working with oil pastels and soft pastels, just for a change. It felt as if something was holding it up. Felt fresh after changing the medium and surface.
57:00 usually I'm not interested in the short videos. I know they are cuts of another video, so if the subject is interesting I prefer watching the full version. If I watch just the short version it feels like I'm missing some information. When I can't watch the whole video at once, I watch it in parts, that works for me. On other channels however I do watch short videos because I know those are the full version.

9:48 maybe you could have some video(s) with the gelli plate? That's something else I really enjoy using, and it's pretty easy to get one.

Hi from Patricia in Cambridge England. Why have you only got 1 kind of pastel? I thought it was generally accepted to go from hard to soft pastels.
Gouache, Professor! Put a “go” in “gouache”
?? It's pronounced the way she's saying it. Gwash.
