Thank you, Claire, for this reading. I think it is one of the best ones of yours that I've seen and I really enjoyed it. So relatable in so many ways. Just recently discovered something about one of the people I've looked up to for many years - this man is in prison for something I don't believe he did, and I have advocated for him for many years. My older sister (since deceased) warned me again and again that he was not who I thought, but I chose to disbelieve her. Now I've discovered the truth from a very reliable source, and my heart was broken. Although he may not have committed the crime he's in prison for, he DID commit many crimes against women. And the indigenous elders, especially the women, feel this is his "karma" so to speak, although they have another term for that, it is his karma for what he did all those years ago to women. He was in his late 20's or early 30's when he was found guilty and sent to prison for 2 murders that he probably didn't even have a part in. He is now in his 80's. My point is that when you said that we may have to let go of some of our role models and listen to the wisdom of our ancestors, this really hit me. I loved the positivity in this message and it's how I've always tried to live my life - by not taking sides. But I actually realized today that I have in the past taken a side and stuck to it. The good thing is that I am ABLE to change when I see the light. I wish you the Happiest New Year and look forward to watching more of your videos that SO resonate with me right now.
