Great video Shawn about Construction has finally started on Therme Manchester, the UK's BIGGEST Water Parkkeep news the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn.😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh my god! What a fantastic new swimming pool and the biggest one I will have ever heard of. Will be sure to visit this one day when it opens! So sorry to hear what happened to Charlotte and hope she is feeling better soon 😊
This looks great. We visit the Trafford centre all the time! It’s only 50 mins from us. We were there last weekend. My son loves the Lego discovery place.
I didn’t even know this was getting built must of missed your clip last year but it’s amazing I live 30 mins from Manchester I will certainly be treating my wife to this
For too long Brits have speed spending money abroad for similar leisure activities and now with this incredible project being built, it will only make the UK citizens spend money in this country. Not to mention this being the biggest resort in Europe, it will be another major tourist attraction for the UK for people abroad to come to!
I'm local to it, i was the one who tagged u in on X about the illegal filming that took place which u documented in ur first video as construction since that video there has also been all the developments you also forget to mention in the video that adjacent to the site. There is a multi storey car park being built opposite coppice wood farm. Additionally, they've also had to deal with travelers breaking on to the premises of the carpark site.
If you ever get the chance, go to Therme in Bucharest, it's absolutely amazing!! The biggest spa in Europe, it contains many different rooms, a huge beach area, swim-up bars, restaurants, and it's dirt cheap!
If they don't put in new roads to exit, it'll be a nightmare to leave, bad enough with just the Barton square traffic leaving, i know I'm moaning but i live near and i see the issues often.
Yes you can pay for whichever areas you want to access and you get a wristband that keys you on and out those areas and you also use it for all purchases
Brand new roller coaster park be good all in one place extra hotels priced cheaper for going to these events. Big casino aswell got the golf and crazy golf .
This is great news for Manchester but going to increase delays for HGVs using Trafford Park. As a driver myself it’s a nightmare with the number of people who don’t know which lane to get into and swopping at last minute cutting you up. On top of that there is also the football traffic as well.
I've been following this since day one. I've written to Peel L&P to place a webcam on their Palazzo tower and stream the development live on TH-cam but so far no response. I guess if we all ask Peel we may get a response.
Glad to hear they are going with GeoThermal. Their cost of operations trying to heat all that water with gas would have been horrendous for sure. As in financially crippling.
The traffic is going to be chaos unless they upgrade the local roads! I hope it does live upto all the hype and we dont end up getting a major cut down version. I am also curious how much entry will cost as it needs to be affordable for families.
Based on the plans it’ll be huge! Hopefully it’ll also be affordable for people and I think it needs to be for them to reach the estimated 1.7m visitors a year!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide 100% :) i hope its not more than £100 for a family ticket for all of the areas as if it costs anymore it will put people off going.
I literally am so close to where the new waterpark will be Hopefully get lots of visits. Edit: If you want a really good scare attraction, i really do recomend for you to go to spooky world in Warrington
I remember hearing about this project a while back. Manchester not far from us, so would like to check it out when it opens. Are you planning to film construction updates or visit in the future. Hope you are both keeping well.
would be great for this to happen, Will You Be Doing any Planet Coaster 2 videos?, would love to see another planco series maybe incorporating a waterpark 🎮🎢
I live about 10 minutes drive from here but I will almost certainly never visit the place, it’s just not my kind of thing. However I do think it’s a great addition to the leisure offering in Manchester.
It’s also Alpamere in Scarborough and since my new Merlin pass will come from the post, I will be going to Alton Towers on Saturday 2 weeks later instead of this Saturday and are you and Charlotte going on that day when I go?
Looks promising this can’t wait to see it complete and thank you for the update didn’t even know it was being built lol also wanted to know I’m staying at a universal hotel for the first time in may the week before epic universe opens we will miss the opening do you think the parks will be busy due to epic universe and also I’ve got 4 days to do the two parks will this be enough do you think will I need to buy express would you say thank you guys for any input it’s much appreciated
Sounds great, now all we need is for UNIVERSAL GB to get the green light!
Hopefully so!
@@sicr7373 I sure do hope so that gets the green light! The UK seriously needs a project like Universal Studios in Bedford.
Been to the Therme in Bucharest, Romania and didn't want to leave. Can't wait for this in the UK
So exciting
The whole of Manchester is a water park it never stops raining 😂😂😂😂
I agree with you.
😂

It’s fantastic to see, can’t wait to follow this!
Yeah now we just need houses for the young people to produce the next generation or we die off.
I never thought this would be built and I’m surprised
It isn't built til it's built
Things can change very quickly
Great to see this starting construction!
It'll get delayed and then canned, typical UK tbh, can't see us actually getting this
@DBProductions12345-m this is Manchester not Blackpool where that Central development has been canned by the developers going bust.

How exciting! Look forward to visiting when it is open. I hope Charlotte is doing ok and her back is getting better. Great video ad always.

Finally something being built in England that isn’t a housing development
Very exciting!
Yeah, we still need more of them tho.
😅

Why are they building it in Manchester. Any world class attraction should be built in the South East of England.

The one in Bucharest is so popular with Brits, many actually fly over there for a day trip! So I’m sure the UK venue will be a big success…

About time ⏲️
I hope this new water park has the UK's first Looping Waterslide. Stoke had the UK's first Trapdoor slide.
That would be awesome if it did!
Perfect place with the rain 🌧️ there but will be fun too
Looks very much indoors on the whole. Weather shouldn’t be too much of a factor.
It’ll mostly be indoors but with outdoor heated pools too!
traffic around Trafford center is going to be even worse 🥲
It’ll get very busy!
Especially with that old Victorian swing bridge as a bottleneck
Can’t believe it’s actually happening! I thought it’d never actually happen, same with Blackpool central
Really happy to see this actually get off the ground!

Will there still be an ice arena? Can’t see anything on the website.

Kind of exciting that their potentially three new large parks opening in the next 5 years.
Therme is to Center Parcs, what Universal is to Merlin!!
