Hey, Greg from the Woodshed told me to come on over and check your channel out, keep up the vids.
You have to keep your wife happy, allows you to then keep cooking and procuring bbq equipment.. Sub #17 👍, good luck to you on your venture, will be looking for more vids coming from you.. I like that you did the variety of doneness. Jay

@Kristopher Charles i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

These look great too! Can you do more videos with the Weber kettles? Do you have a Smokey Joe?

Great video! I just received my custom Que-Deville from Rob a couple of weeks ago. I did the burn in, and I am eagerly anticipating this coming weekend to try and get a cook in. Do you find that you get a better cook without the dividers for the maze in the firebox? Also, what briquettes do you prefer? Plain ol' Kingsford, or something like Royal Oak or another brand? I would appreciate any words of wisdom from a fellow Cascade owner!

Thank you, and congrats on your new Que Deville! It's a great cooker for sure. I'm still learning on mine, as is common with any new cooker, but I'm starting to think a maze is the way to go; either with or without the dividers. That just seems to give more even temps throughout a long cook than starting with a full drawer of charcoal. I've only used plain Kingsford until this past weekend when I ran some Kingsford Professional. Didn't notice a difference, and the standard blue bag may burn a bit longer but less hot, so I'll probably use it from here on out. Scatter some relatively small chunks of your favorite wood throughout the briquettes and go to town!

@@theqshedbackyardbbq Awesome, thanks! I've got my regular blue bags sitting and waiting. Just need to figure out what to cook! Probably a break in "Fatty" and then maybe some ribs. Thanks again, and I look forward to checking out any new vids.

@@CampEFAH You bet...hard to beat a package of Costco chicken thighs for a simple easy break-in cook!
